denny's

it was a very disappointing experience for us.
food was very dry.
the chicken was too salty.
the half-slab ribs and rice that came with it were cold, as if they have been sitting out for a long time.
the three-cheese penne was also very dry and have very little sauce in it :(

cozy place, staffs are attentive and polite. our orders were served right away and warm. i totally love breakfast food here at denny's. it is comforting and makes me go back for more

brunch turned into lunch.

kitchen took an hour to prepare my order. my order are mostly fried foods!

the worst part? the food arrived to me cold! it's not due to the delivery, since the branch is just a kilometer away.

bad experience.

my go-to breakfast place after cycling in nuvali! i love their available breakfast choices (both filipino and western) and their menu deals are worth the price. i also enjoy their refillable, diner-style coffee. their service is quick and servers are friendly! food tastes great, and you can order extra portions if need be.

seams dennys in the philippines is sliding further every time we go. this time the fried chicken was burnt and dry, the salad was drowned in dressing. the clamm chowder taste like the cheapest can you can get at the supermarket. over the last 2 years they started here little by little they eliminated all their desert, now they have no desert. it is a far cry from anything resembling the us dennys chain i know from the states. this is probably the last time we will come to dennys philippines sadly. to many other american chains do much better no need to suffer with this poor quality restaurant

just an update of my first review from a different branch (ayala north exchange). so finally i was able to use my giftaway e-gift code that was declined by the staff before.. ordered waffle and chicken plus another waffle as extra for take aways.. food are neatly packed and some condiments were even included plus the utensils.. not bad even there's extra payment for the packaging.. food is not that surprising.. waffle is just the same as before.. the chicken strips is tender but compare to others like what popeyes chicken tenders having (which i really love), denny's is below average and the price here is really higher.. charge to experience.

denny’s has been one of our family’s go-to restaurants in our weekday dinner as it is just a few blocks away from work and so far, i’ve been checking each item off of their menu.

the beef tapa had the right mix of salty with a little bit of sour, the pork belly was soft with its fat that is so flavorful, and the crispy bangus belly marinated just enough to enhance the flavor of the fish partnered with their special vinegar was my idea of the perfect breakfast, all balanced with the freshness of their salsa. they also have their version of a dry but flavorful adobo. my tummy and my heart is filled.

as a caldereta lover, i tried their saucy beef caldereta. it’s not my typical kind which is a thick stew mainly with tomato sauce, liver spread, and some source of heat. the sauce of their caldereta was flowy, had some spice, and only little tomato taste. nevertheless, it was a unique experience.

they also wings and we tried their italian parmesan and buffalo wings. the italian parmesan made me kinda sneezy because of its powdery spiced batter while the buffalo wings had just a little bit of heat and tanginess.

other items that we already checked off their menu are their chicken apple cranberry salad, lumberjack slam, chocolate lava cake, denny's share four all, salisbury steak skillet, eggplant extravaganza, pork adobo, good morning omelette, beef nachos, and grilled pork chop and egg.

ok but breakfast plate one time was not that good the bacon is overcooked and tough to thin and not nice the sunny side eggs egg white still raw they cook them in ring.? service is friendly and attentive. dinner the spaghetti carbonara was delicious and their wings also. one time lunch the bacon cheese burger also great and big portion. and 24 hours open is great but pricy tough.

love denny's restaurants in general. the manila/ermita denny's had friendly waitresses. waffle was good. place could have been cleaner. when asked to have cinnamon dust on the waffle they charge 50 peso for this, despite telling them to hold the butter. not a lot of money but just the point. clearly the day manager needs to have some training in customer service and gross margin pricing. would not go back.

we ordered for brewed coffee along with salad and chicken. the restaurant was not even filled with customers, there were a lot of servers around, it was not a busy day at all but we were done with the food and the coffee didn't come. i called one of the waiters to cancel the coffee and asked to be billed out as we will just get the coffee at starbucks

their chicken wings can be cooked in different styles depending on what marinade you want and their pancakes are good too. plus it's 24 hours.

we ordered the pork belly with eggs , but asked the eggs to be served on the side due to allergies, and it tasted good. the marinate is spot on and tastes exactly like a flavorful filipino barbecue. the salsa it came with was lacking but it’s quite understandable since it’s not really supposed to be part of the dish. the serving portion is big, really worth the money.

we also got the saucy beef caldereta, it was great! the meat was so tender that chewing was optional! haha. the sauce was rich and thick, just how it should be. however, i prefer mine with a bit of a kick and spice. this was served with veggies that tasted good too.

we also got their chicken and waffles, the chicken strips were legit chicken which was great! the waffles were the star of the show, it’s very crispy and dense! very yummy!

we got a hash brown on the side because that’s my favorite part of any diner-sequel places. it was crispy and salty, just the way i like it!

will totally come back for more!

everything was worth the price. serving portion are generous which is expected for american diners. good ambiance and has a lot to offer in their menu. definitely coming back!

i can't believe it took them 30mins to get my coffee. and the place is not even that busy!

ordered salted caramel pancakes and unlimited coffee. pancakes were fluffy and yummy. i liked the added popcorn on top, however the caramel was not that much =)
staff were very kind. one lent me a powerbank when i got low battery.
i also liked that there was wifi at the resto =)
