delaire graff blew my mind. my wife and i were greeted with spectacular panoramic views of the valley. we were welcomed by friendly staff who showed us the wine tasting area. at r50pp we decided to do some wine tasting. thedelairegraff 2013 chardonnay was exceptional, with a strong element of butterscotch. it was decadent and easy to drink. i regret not buying a bottle while i was there. this wine estate is a should definitely be on your bucket list!

the venue and the views are gorgeous. waitstaff are friendly, knowledgeable and very punctual. our set menu was fabulous. we had dinner the previous evening at indochine and were simply blown away by the quality of the overall experience. in fairness, indochine is a more intimate experience wheredelairegraff is more open and roomy. although just eclipsed by indochine,delairegraff is excellent and certainly worth returning to.

i don’t even know where to begin.

just driving into this place...you are left breathless. the views, the statues...all of it just makes you gasp at every turn.

now the food. my starter was oyster and they were amazing. i had a peas, truffle and prawn risotto on special for the day for mains...it was so delicious and well cooked and perfectly seasoned, i wanted to cry. i had a white chocolate dessert that was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy with the fresh berries.

this is one of the most expensive bills i’ve racked up but i would pay it again and again and again.delairegraaf is 5 star and outstanding in every way!

we had an outstanding experience atdelairegraff. we were on our honeymoon and celebrating valentine’s day there. the staff are super nice as they signed a card wishing us a happy wedding! it was a beautiful gesture that we won’t forget! the ambiance is beautiful, the scenery outstanding and the food was really good. must try place in cape town!

delaire graff was an experience! as the other reviews note, it's on the more expensive side when compared to some contemporaries (e.g. tokara or jordan). however, there's plenty of bang for the buck, headlined by a spectacular view that in my experience is unparalleled (for the first few minutes of lunch, there was virtually no conversation as we drank in our surroundings). there are plenty of waiters who are impeccably attentive - the best service i've had anywhere, always present and accessible but never invasive. each dish has multiple accompaniments and flavours, and the food is very good. it did somehow lack a bit of the unquantifiable "wow" factor, but i couldn't fault anything specific. the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing and the attention to detail throughout is impeccable. if you have not visited already, adddelairegraff to your bucket list.

this place is what dreams are made of! what a phenomenal fine dining experience! situated in the heart of the stellenbosch winelands, this place is just outstanding. and this is just referring to the location! the service and food atdelairegraff was nothing short of amazing. go hungry and indulge in their flawless food presentation, sensational tasty food and wine from the biggest wine glasses i have ever seen, whilst looking at the spectacular mountain range in the distance. some may consider this pricey, but when you leave , you will realise that it was well worth that buck! anything you choose on the menu will be amazing! but be sure to try the creme brule for dessert, best one i have ever had!! will most definitely be back!

superb superb!!!! if a picture is truly worth a thousand words then images of a tranquil place easily give it one of the most expensive & eloquent descriptions....delaire blew me away till today i cant get over the place. starting from the tasting room we were welcomed by a witty sommelier who actually convinced me to buy a case of the botmaskop a great bordeaux blend....then we moved onto the restaurant where the views are just breath taking and the food was just absolutely amazing. then took a walk amongst the vines.....unforgettable experience!!! if u want to impress anyone thendelaireis a must

incredible lunch, magnificent view, perfectly chilled mcc - impeccable service. when next in cpt and not in the mood for the drive to franschoek trydelairegraaf stellenbosch. the freshest ingredients expertly cooked & presented, each plate a work of art!

all round the most beautiful experience, having been there twice and experienced both the wine tasting, art on show, beautifully landscaped gardens and most recently the restaurant-delairegraff is a personal favorite. the food was delicious and beautifully presented

delaire graaf has to have one of the best views in the world. it is worth stopping by just for the views alone. the wine tasting is fantastic and provides an awesome opportunity to enjoy the outlook without forking out for the restaurant.
the crown jewel of thedelairegraaf estate has to be the restaurant, with views for days, delicious wines and a fine dining experience fit for royalty, it has to be one of the most outstanding restaurants i have visited. 

our meal atdelairewas incredible – everything was beautifully presented (like little works of art) and the different flavours and textures made for an experience straight out of foodie heaven. from the miso butter and the parsley hummus served with the bread to the foams and crumbles with the mains, i finally get what they are talking about on masterchef!

my conscience requires that i point out now that foams and crumbles come with quite a hefty price tag, but for me the cost was well worth the experience and you really do get what you’re paying for – breathtaking views, excellent service, delicious food and some great wine to boot. all in all it was an incredible sunday with good friends in the cape winelands. life could be worse.

went todelairegraff for a sunday lunch. it is located in the most beautiful setting with views of the nearest mountain range. the food and hostility were both of a very high standard. found the restaurant a little over priced but i would go back
