pretentious, boring and overpriced. we went there last night. thefoodwas very boring. my pasta pieces were stuck together, i bet that a 9-year old can manage to do better cooking orecchiette. my entree with shrimp and chorizo was greasy and one-dimensional. the attitude of their staff is very pretentious, give me a break this is beaverton for crying out loud, what is the pretention about! my partner ordered the penne and asked the waiter to omit the ricotta and use a tomato based sauce instead of the cream but leaving the rest of the ingredients as is. what she got was a bowl of penne topped with marinara, that is no other ingredients. the price for penne topped with marinara was $17, do they think they are in downtown nyc?
bottom line, won't go there again.

a staple in great dining since it opened, this review is long overdue. fortunately, the restaurant doesn't need any help as there is always a well deserved line. with a fantastic happy hour you can roll into dinner, and then spend the last part of the evening in their fine wine bar.

it's a true farm-to-table, in the restaurant knows how to put a good meal together. there are always the staples: an amazing espresso roasted short ribs, a delicious chitarra, and a rolling handmade pasta dish (that is usually to die for).

you can do a traditional steak or an oven roasted chicken, or a braised pork shoulder – and never go wrong. there really is something for everyone. on the lighter fare, there are several because that does that are great for an appetizer or a meal.

it's not uncommon to have the decarli's roaming the floor, and checking on some of the new menu items. i remember a fantastic table so i discussion on a squid ink pasta that had just rolled out, and here was the chef checking and trying to refine the recipe.

thefoodis supported well with a solid staff. the wait staff is knowledgeable and are. long-term employees, the bar staff knows how to pair both wine and drinks, and makes some of their own fine cocktails. definitely worth trying.

decarli is making sure that beaverton is not overshadowed by its larger portland cousin in the dining section.

great service. the first time i came here was for happy hour. the bartender, i wish i could remember her name (this was a few months ago), let us sample some drinks we were curious about and hadfoodrecommendations too.
thefoodwas tasty but i'm so used to cheap, fastfoodthat i wasn't used to more gourmet/exotic flavors.
overall i enjoyed my experience there.

cozy but expensive. the atmosphere is nice (warm and cozy) a bit loud and thefoodwas ok but over priced.

my go to place for out of town guests.... greatfoodand ambiance! it can get very noisy on busy weekend nights but ask for a table in the back and it's managible. got to have: polenta fries, short ribs and any dessert on the menu!

we sat at the bar and mark waited on us. we had a pizza and the tagallia with wild boar and omg unbelievable. thefoodwas fabulous the drinks were good very friendly atmosphere, chatted with other patrons. will go back.

delicious!. i've been to decarli's happy hour several times now. thefoodis delicious! the drinks are hit and miss. i recommend the polenta fries, the bruschetta trio, the short rib sandwich and the tomato pizzetta. the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive.

never again!. without a doubt the worst dining experience that i've ever endured. it was painfully noisy inside the dilapidated brick building, the seating was uncomfortable, the lighting was practically non-existent, and the 'urban trash' decor was depressing. so much for the setting. while the waitress for our group of six diners spoke politely enough, she repeatedly bumped into me and elbowed me in the head as she moved around our table. thefoodwas very slow to arrive, and when it finally did arrive it was a huge disappointment. undercooked or burned, cold and overpriced. i see no reason to ever return.

excellentfoodand service. we had dinner june 14. excellent service from tamera. drinks and wine good and reasonably priced.foodexcellent and priced appropriately for quality. it was crowded and noisy which is only problem. it was recommended to us by friends we trust. they were right. we will be back.

horrible!!!. seriously, one of the most annoying dinners ever! now let me say this. thefoodwas amazing and the service was ok, (our waitress was timely but a bit forceful). the thing that bothered me was the owner, jana decarli. my wife and i had reservations for 8:15 and arrived a little early. we checked in with jana at the front desk and went to the bar to wait for our table. we saw several people enter the restaurant after us. we saw jana go up to one couple that had just walked in and begin talking to them. we overheard her and realized they were friends. she told them that they don't need a reservation to come in, and immediately gave them a table. now i'm ok with people having friends but we had a reservation and waited 30 minutes past our time while the owner catered to her friends. we will not be back for that kind of service, not from the owner and not for $120 dollar dinner for two!

love, love love decarli. the bartender knows me by name, as does the hostess and half the staff. is it because i come here too often? perhaps....but it has more to do with the neighborhood friendliness of this suburban haven.

thank you, paul and jana for bringing some class to beaverton with decarli. thefoodis always excellent, and the experience is always second to none.

this is my favorite place to bring out-of-town company to. but i especially love bringing west sider's who've never heard of decarli here.....they are always floored by the ambiance and quality food.

best bets....the polenta fries appetizer, the mussels with pernod cream, the tagliatelle, and the short ribs on spaetzle.....never had a bad meal here, and i've eaten here a lot!!

been for anniversary dinners and sunday brunches. always had greatfoodand great ambiance, a new favorite place for us!

i have been a number of times and they fail to upset.foodis great and the beef short ribs are a must. living in beav., it is fantastic to not have to go to the east side of town for good food.

ok.... the decor was beautiful, but thefoodonly ok for the price. we had two entrees and the total was $42. ouch. don't think we will be back.
