we were at the bayside market and were looking to eat somewhere in the market itself when we decided to yelp and saw the amazingreviewsfor this place. it's 5 mins walk from the actual market so we decided to go there and boy are we glad. it was the best meal we had in miami period.

our server was super duper nice and when she found out that it was our first time eating peruvian food she gave us some nice suggestions. she also explained each dish in details which we really appreciated.

to start we were given complimentary roasted pine nut shaped corn which were so amazing they were so crispy and made a great snack to chew on while we waited for our food. our server suggested two drinks chicha morada which was made with purple corn and passion fruit mango juice, both the drinks were really good. for appetizer we got stuffed potato causa with octopus and olives and omg it was so so good. best octopus we have had and if you have not had octopus before or had bad experience this is the dish you need to try. the octopus was so tender and so flavorful.

for main we got trio of ceviche as the restaurant is called ceviche. and boy it was good ceviche. our server chose three different kinds of ceviche and all of them were just perfect. we were also given those roasted corn and some boiled white corn(which were boiled with anise which gave it a sweet flavor) and boiled sweet potato, all of which gave flavor and texture contrast to the ceviche.

while we were having our lunch there were 5 birthday celebration , so it seemed like popular place to celebrate birthday's and frankly saying if i would have lived in miami i would have celebrated my birthday here too.

shocked that there are notreviewson this popular establishment. we we visited miami, we were fortunate to be at a hotel just a few blocks away and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.  the most popular dish around us was a 4-sampler of cerviche that wasn't on the menu, but having already eaten cerviche, i wanted to try something new. we started with lima criolla stuffed potatos which were crusty on the outside and filled with a tasty traditional picadillo on the inside. then i had tacu lomo which made my taste buds stand up. glen took a taste and ended up awarding it the best dish of the trip. he ordered a fish dish in yellow sauce with a small topping of crab that while good, did not have the expected flavour pop of mine. still good, but mine was hands down the best. we would eat there again in a second. only negative was dishes were just a tad salty.
