we were at the bayside market and were looking to eat somewhere in the market itself when we decided to yelp and saw the amazing reviews for this place. it's 5 mins walk from the actual market so we decided to go there and boy are we glad. it was the best meal we had in miami period.

our server was super duper nice and when she found out that it was our first time eating peruvian food she gave us some nice suggestions. she also explained each dish in details which we really appreciated.

to start we were given complimentary roasted pine nut shaped corn which were so amazing they were so crispy and made a great snack to chew on while we waited for our food. our server suggested two drinks chicha morada which was made with purple corn and passion fruit mango juice, both the drinks were really good. for appetizer we got stuffed potato causa with octopus and olives and omg it was so so good. best octopus we have had and if you have not had octopus before or had bad experience this is the dish you need to try. the octopus was so tender and so flavorful.

for main we got trio of ceviche as the restaurant is called ceviche. and boy it was good ceviche. our server chose three different kinds of ceviche and all of them were just perfect. we were also given those roasted corn and some boiled white corn(which were boiled with anise which gave it a sweet flavor) and boiled sweet potato, all of which gave flavor and texture contrast to the ceviche.

while we were having our lunch there were 5 birthday celebration , so it seemed like popular place to celebrate birthday's and frankly saying if i would have lived in miami i would have celebrated my birthday here too.

we were looking for good seafood in miami beach for lunch. chose cvi.che 105 because of previous reviews. we were not disappointed!! we got the ceviche to share and it was delicious! our waiter, edison, made the experience even more enjoyable as he was so helpful with suggestions. overall the meal & atmosphere were totally perfect! we will definitely revisit if ever in the area.

it's really good food and they have really nailed the decoration, however if you are a foodie that doesn't really care about the environment or decoration you can get equal or better peruvian food at some other smaller restaurants that miami offers at a much more reasonable price. if you are here for happy hour, the chilcano they make is awesome

peruvian cuisine is booming worldwide and miami is not the exception. although there were already several peruvian restaurants in this city, cviche105 boosted the passion for seafood specialties. it has top-notch quality, the reason why people keep going there frequently. don't forget to try choros a la chalaca. cviche105 has another location in downtown (the original one), but more spacious and louder than the one we visited in south beach.

what we liked the most: jalea real & pulpito herradura

this is one of the most creative restos on the beach, in my opinion. first of all, i love peruvian food and i can never get enough of it here. for more traditional peruvian fare, i would go to chalan, but if you're looking for peruvian/japanese fusion, look no further.
i would recommend you order from their sushi station menu. the blend of technique and taste of the dishes are ridiculously mind blowing. bring your appetite and order a few to share as this is what's encouraged.
anything seafood is a sure bet...especially if you love ceviche, and they have plenty of options for you.
the drinks are also delicious. i would recommend having the pisco sour. the service is excellent. william was ours last night and i appreciated his style...friendly frank, and efficient. he really took the time to listen for what we were in the mood for and suggested what to ordered and the perfect amount of it.
i could go on and on but please take a look at my pictures for a peak of the dishes we had. coming here the next time you're in the beach is a must.

shocked that there are not reviews on this popular establishment. we we visited miami, we were fortunate to be at a hotel just a few blocks away and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.  the most popular dish around us was a 4-sampler of cerviche that wasn't on the menu, but having already eaten cerviche, i wanted to try something new. we started with lima criolla stuffed potatos which were crusty on the outside and filled with a tasty traditional picadillo on the inside. then i had tacu lomo which made my taste buds stand up. glen took a taste and ended up awarding it the best dish of the trip. he ordered a fish dish in yellow sauce with a small topping of crab that while good, did not have the expected flavour pop of mine. still good, but mine was hands down the best. we would eat there again in a second. only negative was dishes were just a tad salty.
