crostatas rustic pizza

after several tries, still not won over.... amy and i had an unpleasant first visit here before, but so many of our friends spoke so highly of therestaurantthat we decided to try again. the ravioli appetizer was ok. i appreciate the handmade dough, but the cheese filling and the sauce was bland. also, we thought the dough was thick. the other appetizer of sausage filled hot peppers were also bland. amy had a salad that was over dressed yet still under seasoned. the pesto pizza was pretty good though. the crust was well cooked and the flavors were right on. lastly, when amy checked our bill, they had mis-priced the bottle of wine. if we didn't check, we would have paid more than the menu price. all in all, the pizza was good, but everything else just kinda fell apart for us.

not good. my husband picked me up from work yesterday and announced that moss man reviewed an italianrestauranton the eastside and we were going to try it out. we dine out frequently and have been to many, many restaurants in greater cleveland, and the world for that matter. we never mind paying top dollar for top dollar food and service. the waitress was very matter of fact and not friendly in the least. we both ordered the cavatelli (my husband opted to get the meatballs and extra $6.00). when our food came i thought it was a joke - it looked like a side dish of pasta ($15.00). salad was separate - not included. the waitress never checked back with us asking how the food was. we got her attention to ask if bread was included with the pasta and her response was, "only if you ask." she brought us two breadsticks on a big plate and wasn't very cordial about it. all in all we paid a lot for not much. our local pizza shop has excellent pasta, salad, and bread for under $9.00. we wil never return and will spread the word so that are many friends don't make the mistake we did. thank you.

awesome. if you love delicious, authentic italian food, you'll get it at crostatas. you can taste the flavor rich, fresh, high quality ingredients in every dish. i love the homemade cavatelli (my favorite) and ravioli. this has become our favoriterestaurantfor dine in and take out. kudos to the great chef and staff.

fantastic. we visited therestaurantlast week for dinner and had a most enjoyable and delicious meal. we were greeted by the friendly host who promptly sat us where we could watch all that is going on. the meal was freshly made, the pizza outstanding. you've got to try the new mushroom pizza with carmelized onions, it was amazing. the homemade desserts were also delicious.the servers were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. it has a warm atmosphere, wonderful menu and we will surely make crostatas our favorite restaurant.

bestrestauranteverrrrr!!!!!. i absolutely love crostatas. i have been there countless times and every single time, i have excellent food and excellent service. there is such a huge variety of pizzas that it's so hard for me to choose sometimes! i have a few favorites though. the salads there are the best salads i have ever had in my entire life!!! whenever i go, i just say the usual. appetizers are fantastic! the menu offers the perfect amount of choices. i love the feel of the restaurant. it's comfortable and feels like i'm sitting at home. it's very relaxing. the service is always great and the servers are so nice!! i always ask for kathy when i go, she is awesome! she treats her customers very well and i have never been disappointed after a visit. i highly recommend eating at crostatas!

had the pizza and all of the appetizers on the menu my first time in therestaurantand i don't think i have ever tasted food that good the first time out. i am going with some friends again and probably will make it a routine for years to come. phenomenal food, old world granite with rock face finish and the kitchen open for all the customers to see, somebody knows how to do it the right way. keep it up
