cristina's fine mexican restaurant

great for my tex-mex fix.. my wife and i love going out here. it is noisy and always busy, but we don;t mind that so much. to have a greattimethere follow these simple plan.
1 - if you can handle a little heat, ask for the hot salsa, made from serrano chilies it is part of what i love about this place and i add a little to everything i eat.

2 - get a giant fish bowl margarita. you can also get "lite" drinks, the skinny marg, or the mojitos made with agave syrup.

3 - get soem brisket taco's or quesadilla.

now your done sit back and enjoy.

food and service. poor service poor food quality, longtimeto get food and then cold. staff was disrespectful and managers as well many other mexican restaurants in the area that exceed by far over this horrible place of business

i have eaten at quite a few mexican restaurants in mytimeand christina's is one of my favorites. i am not sure who the people are that do not like this place.... maybe they own or work at a competing mexican restaurant? christina's on 1171 in flower mound is always busy both lunch and dinner. that would be the only thing bad about the place in my opinion.... you sometimes have to wait for a seat sometimes for a short while. i love this place.

best tex-mex value in town. i cannot count the number of times my co-workers and i have headed off to christina's for lunch. it's something that you crave once you get a taste of it. there are plenty of good mexican restaurants around, but few beat the service, the flavor, and what you get for your money here. for lunch, you have to get there right after 11 am unless you want to wait. the onlytimei have ever been disappointed was when i ordered brisket burritos. otherwise, it has been outstanding. even though i no longer live in the dallas area, we make it a point to return here for a meal whenever we are in town.

friday lunch. we have driven by there many oftimeand it was always packed. the location in frisco is absolutely wonderful. a few of my co-wokers and i went for lunch and loved the food. the customer service was phenomenal. we will definately be gong back again.

going south. the location at the tollway & parkwood seems to be going south, when i first dined there food & service was excellent but eachtimesince the food & service both seem to be less & less desirable. most recent experience was bad, service was especially bad, its as if they are unhappy to see you from the minute you walk in the door, hosts no smiles, not welcoming just robotic, sat for several minutes before anyone greeted us, after greeting a long wait for drinks, server upsold margarita without asking & they tasted like lemonaid, sat for long periods oftimewith empty glasses, food was inconsistent, some plates terrible (dark brown, obviously over cooked puffy tacos & very dry tasteless brisket tacos) & some food pretty good. staff just doesn't seem happy there, think itstimeto find another place to eat mexican food.

bland & overpriced. more disappointing than the tasteless food was the slow service. my food took 25 minutes to show up at the table and it was a major disappointment when it did arrive. i overheard 2 other tables complaining about their food while i was eating. the entire experience was a waste of mytimeand money. i'll never go back.
