the gem of the hub city. this is the place to go in hattiesburg. it is connected to the mahogany bar which is a nice place to wait for your table as it is a full fledged bar. i often get the catch of the day as the fish is fresh and tasty. there are several great dishes, too many to mention here. they have a nice wine selection which is the basis for their decorations. there is a very new orleans like atmosphere that feels like a breath of fresh air. the servers are well dressed and very professional. it might be loud at times but everyone is having a good time. if you visit hattiesburg, this place is a must.

not that great. i have been to crescent city grill a few times but this last experience was not great. it took 10 min. to order our drinks once seated. it took another 10 min. to receive the drinks. we did order an app but we received the wrong order. it took another 20 min. to get our main dishes and then received the correct app. the appetizer was burnt (ordered the crab cake) and my pasta was cold. the other dishes that were ordered were very good. i understand that it was busy but the server only had 4 tables including my table. either he was a new server or he just doesn't have a clue. as far as the food it could have been better. i wonder if going during lunch when it is not so crowded the food would come hot with better service?

nothing bad in the place.... from the drinks, to appetizers, entrees, desserts & atmosphere... definitely one of the best places in hattiesburg!

one of hattiesburg's best. crescent city really has it figured out. a staple for locals and out-of-towners, alike, crescent city offers a wonderful menu featuring some of the best prepared seafood i've ever tasted. i enjoy going for their lunch here and having their fish dish of the day.

as one of the pickiest people i know, i can say that i've never had a bad meal here. four stars.

the crab stuffed crab cakes are excellent! the gumbo is very good also. the servers are attentive and friendly. the prices are reasonable for the quality/quantity of the food and the service. i will be going back!

great menu. great food-- i love the bayou combo - so you get two half entrees. also love there white chocolate bread pudding!!

great food and service. as an out-of-towner, i was pleased to find a restaurant i wanted to eat at both nights during my stay in hattiesburg. casual atmosphere was great as was the service. i recommend the orleans style catch-of-the-day which was perfectly prepared and not too saucy. the catfish special was tasty as well. the only disappointment was the white chocolate bread pudding. it was very non-traditional in texture (so firm it was cut into a slab) and that did not work for me. the lemon ice bx pie was excellent.

wow! what else is there to say.... my wife and i were on our way back from a trip to new orleans where we went for good food but who knew the best part about the trip would be stopping in hattiesburg at a restaurant we never heard of. the service was exceptional and the food....the food was phenomenal! i had the "filet oscar" with lump crab meat on top. it was cooked perfectly and is one of the best steaks i have ever had. i highly recommend this restaurant and if my wife and i ever get within 100 miles of it again we will stop again.

new in town. we just moved from michigan but already had tried crscent on a trip through town. could not wait to visit again. good food and good service. a cook book is on my wife's wish list.

great food and great atmosphere. you've go to try the prime rib philly steak sandwich. it's awesome! the drink prices are a little pricey but if you go during happy hour, they have great specials on 2 for 1.

best creole/cajan food outside of new orlean. my shrimp & crabmeat in a fried eggplant boat with a creole was awesome.
