ate there today had the cowboy up burger. step up from burger king and cost 15 bucks. wife had the brisket sandwich, taste like they mixed it with sloppy joe mix. not very good at all

had a great time! service was amazing!! tenderloin was a little over cooked. but the cactus fries were very good. definetly worth stopping at!!

the interior is definitely interesting (think giant booths and western themed decorations), the portions are massive, and the cactus fries appetizer was fun to try, but the quality of food just isn't that great. for whatever reason, we ordered the duck there, and of course, after having duck at l'auberge, it was very disappointing. i would only recommend it if you're ridiculously hungr

fun place to try local specialities like rattlesnake and cactus. we passed on the rattlesnake, but tried the fried cactus. it was spicy but the prickly pear sauce toned it down. my husband had the duck and i had the kale & cashew chicken salad. both were very good , but i don't think my salad had any cashews. the manager, thomas, was so nice and accommodating. all the staff were so nice and helpful .

the ambiance of the place is wonderful. the rustic look really makes you feel like you are in a cowboy bar. however that was probably about the best part of it. first we had to wait about 20 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge that we had sat down even though there were maybe only 15 people in the place. i ordered the cowboy plate my wife a buffalo burger. the brisket on my plate was mostly fat and what little meat there was ,was highly overcooked, dry and inedible. the chicken leg and thigh were alright but very small. the coleslaw was tasteless and bland. to be honest the best thing on the plate was the beans. i actually was expecting a bbq bean but was pleasantly surprised by the nice chili flavor to them. if i had to eat at the cowboy club again i think the beans would be the only thing i order. my wife's buffalo burger was overdone and crunchy on the outside. i think that will be our first and last visit to the cowboy club. i will say even though she was slow our waitress was very nice.

first, i loved how thorough the menu identified gf. great atmosphere. had the wedge salad and buffalo chili to start. really good. then waited for a while for dinner, which i found odd for a tuesday night but the place did eventually fill which should be a testament to the menu that we didn't try. waiter was friendly and efficient. the elk chops were amazing. cooked to perfection. the prime rib? it tasted good, but unless the sauce is flecked with gold i felt the overall cost was too much for prime rib. i was a little disappointed. overall i would come back, but would pass on my first choice and opt for something else.

it exactly 40 min to get our appetizer. i had to flag him down after 20 min to get our drinks ordered. they took forever to bring the food.

service was just ok. we ordered the rattlesnake app, it was really good! our entree was the duck. not so good at all. for the $$$ tab i expect so much better for diner for two. i don't think i would recommend this place based on our experience.

great lunch spot while visiting. great service...ask for kim. had the bison burger - med rare and it came out perfectly. the ribs, pull pork and the appetizers all were fantastic. will recommend and will come back in my next visit.

service was excellent. food was a hit & miss and overall a hit. we had lunch. tried the cactus fries and buffalo burger they were great. pulled pork was eh. value wise it was better than most.

melody from texas. excellent service and food. asked the front desk lady at our hotel and she recommended it rather than computer research. was a hidden jewel, filet and prime rib could not have been any better.

was expecting so much more. it was sunny and very nice sitting outside at noon. friendly service but out of items on the menu we wanted to try. the reason we picked this place. waiter was friendly when he said it would be ok with him if we parted company. i will never be back. the eight over cooked very hard coconut shrimp and two salads cost $38. not worth it. so many other places around.

dinner review. good atmosphere, cool seating - booth style where you can sit together. need to book in advance otherwise long waits it would seem. menu choices were good, food was yummy. on the expensive side, and they charge a fee to share meals (big no no in my mind!!! - its $8 i think!). knowledgeable staff, bit pushing at upselling. overall worth a visit though!
