hostess was not the mostest. i created this account just to make this review.
my sister wanted to go to couzin's to celebrate her birthday because she used to be a regular! understanding we came on a sunday and we had a party of 7 we didnt mind waiting, but (coming from a background in the restaurant biz) we watched people who came after us be seated in locations where they should have been planning for our larger table. after over an hour, they called our party and were told by the hostess we were going to be at separate tables, telling us "you can take this or... i don't know when we'll be able to seat you." we, regretably, took it asking to be relocated when a table became available. after about 5 minutes a large party left and we asked to be seated there before ourfoodcame so our party could be together, the waitress said she would see what she could do. instead of acccommodating we heard the hostess say in passing to her co-workers "there's no way i'm moving them", and proceeded to sit only 3 people at a table that could fit 6-7. i was furious! that was totally unprofessional and lacked tact. when we received our food, my significant other'sfoodwas soggy and cold.
the one good thing i can say was our waitress was very nice, and quick. go you, girl!
i am not sure if the hostess was new, or just didnt understand how to deal with high volume, higher stress siutations, but she was completely unaccommodating and rude. i will be reaching out to the owners. no thanks, brown bag cafe it is!
