my absolute favourite place for coffee! mithilesh didnagpura solid by introuncing coffee culture here! i love the nitro, sparkling cold brew, flat white and the food's pretty great too! a lovely place for brunch...or to just lounge about!

just don't like that it's always overcrowded these days! time to start the 2nd one!😀

best place for coffee innagpur. finally went to this amazing place for coffee innagpur, and yes the hype was not wrong . really loved the coffee at this place , a little bit heavy on pocket but the coffee is really worth it . my recommendations to try at this place would be blackjack and nameless .

my review is one of the pre lockdown era.

my favorites : espresso french toast , sunny side up with bacon stripes and cappuccino

ambience: i really love the warm cozy feel this place has , especially in the coldnagpurwinters. lovely furniture and overall a very cute look!

coffee: the coffee is simply amazing although i have been here just once , i'd love to go back and try some more of that delicious coffee . they offer a hell lot of variety in coffee.

staff: staff is cordial and friendly :)

food : eggs and bacon ftw. i've an overall huge appetite so it wasn't enough for me and maybe the price was on the higher side for me. but the taste is pretty great.

conclusion : would definitely go back for more :)

so the dining part here right now is just sad. there is only takeaway because of covid. we knew this and still travelled all the way from kamptee cantonment to try the famed coffee here. we had blacksmith because the day had just been too hot and the bike ride too tiring. i don't know if the reviews speak about the whole experience of mixing the coffee which makes it so nice, but we got coffee in this cup. it tasted..just fine. a regular cold coffee which was thick enough to call decent. maybe the missing visual effect of the coffee combined with the standing around and drinking it in a smoker's lane fell short of the cafe experience. we also got this fried dark chocolate donut called belarini or something. the chocolate filling inside was plenty, but the filling was neither dark, nor did it make the whole trip worthwhile. one thing it definitely was, was very filling. two of us finished it. it just came short of a krispy kreme filled donut. i was oh so looking forward to try the chocochip pancakes here after reading the reviews, but the menu was limited due to covid i guess. all in all, if you're a resident of nagpur, and live closeby, it is definitely a good place to try for coffee and bites with some soothing music, but just try making your own coffee at home if you're coming from kamptee. being used to prices of bangalore coffee, this was comparatively pocket friendly too. can't say ifnagpurlocals think the same.

on my visit tonagpurafter 5 long years, the place took me with surprise with the number of restaurants it has grown up with. one among them was this cafe!

recommended by my friend,i instantly thought of visiting the place for my brunch.
as i was about to enter,i was greeted with a smile by the staff. he opened the door for me and then escorted me to my table.
the cafe offers both outdoor and indoor seating with a capacity of 50-60 people approx.
since it was my first visit,i asked the staff to recommend me the best they could get and went for it according to their suggestion.

brunch:
as suggested,i ordered egg benedict.
hot butter toasted bread with perfectly poached egg,top filled with warm, creamy, unbroken hollandaise sauce. this was a bit heavy but perfect for a full filling brunch.

beverages.
i went for both hot and cold beverage.
i tried both of their signature beverages- 'blacksmith' and 'nameless'.

blacksmith is a blend of black milk with cold latte and ice. they didn't disclose what black milk was made up of but trust me. it is amazing! a must try beverage.

nameless is a double shot cappuccino with a punch of chocolate. if you are looking for something hot to drink,go for it!

dessert
i tried the traditional coffee cheesecake.
with my first bite came the first reaction : "smooth".
the coffee flavour in there, hits you, ofcourse in a good way.

the soothing ambience of the restaurant helps to extract the tiredness after shopping for hours in the busy streets of bardi area . the place is really cool with some amazing music in the background.

the staff is very very polite and friendly and the service is quick with lesser wait. to what they offer, the place is easy on the pockets.
trust me,one cannot regret this place in nagpur. a must visit!

food:4.8/5
price:4.8/5
ambience:4.8/6

corridor seven coffee roasters
some beans, some tongue and no scissors
sitabuldi, nagpur

i recall 7 years back someone casually mentioned the best coffee atnagpuris at gokul. i agreed. that is where the coffee culture of city was. filter #coffee. mocha arrived and bought in some french press and fine beans. focus however stayed with food. food over coffee. yet we had cafes. 2020 and we have some options, cafe coffee brews and beans grind. i found my coffee paradise hidden in a chaos. welcome to corridor seven coffee roasters!

the location confused me. i was expecting tired aunty with shoping bags, but i found corporate lady with laptop. i was expecting kids wandering around, but i found youth just quietly chilling around . when food takes a back seat, coffee culture arrives. i was just happy to just relax and enjoy my coffee with no noise around me. not a place for kitty, but a place to catch up. share conversations and enjoy some serious caffeine.

the coffee here comes from #chikmagalur. the western slopes churn out a rich bean which stands tall even in international market. they grind the coffee and use different techniques to extract the perfect flavour. for those who have a food mandate this is perfect brunch place with variety of egg and bread options . i won’t talk much about it as coffee is what i want sell here. check menu on #zomato.

thanks neha for pushing me consistently for 6 months to pay one visit to corridor seven! that is neha - she is persistent :) i and many ragged her when she started her blog as tongue and scissors. she started when things were just picking up on internet and food blogging ( influencer culture or whatever you wanna call it) was fairly new to nagpur. people were just not ready for change. she was patient and she faired well. setting up her own followers and style. things moved to instagram few years back and we have many talented folks, probably very ahead in game. but no one can take away the fact she paved on the way!

as i caught up with the most laid back food blogger in town, i could not but appreciate the serious coffee culture at the heart of nagpur. thanks to ‘tongue and scissors’ and cheers to the serious caffeine buisness at nagpur!

i share food stories not photography!
