so the dining part here right now is just sad. there is only takeaway because of covid. we knew this and still travelled all the way from kamptee cantonment to try the famed coffee here. we had blacksmith because the day had just been too hot and the bike ride too tiring. i don't know if the reviews speak about the whole experience of mixing the coffee which makes it so nice, but we got coffee in this cup. it tasted..just fine. a regular cold coffee which was thick enough to call decent. maybe the missing visual effect of the coffee combined with the standing around and drinking it in a smoker's lane fell short of the cafe experience. we also got this fried dark chocolate donut called belarini or something. the chocolate filling inside was plenty, but the filling was neither dark, nor did it make the whole trip worthwhile. one thing it definitely was, was very filling. two of us finished it. it just came short of a krispy kreme filled donut. i was oh so looking forward to try the chocochip pancakes here after reading the reviews, but the menu was limited due to covid i guess. all in all, if you're a resident of nagpur, and live closeby, it is definitely a good place to try for coffee and bites with some soothing music, but just try making your own coffee at home if you're coming from kamptee. being used to prices of bangalore coffee, this was comparatively pocket friendly too. can't say if nagpur locals think the same.
