still great, even lunch. recently had first lunch here, normally have been just dinners. was amazed how crowded it was - yet party of three we were able to get seated fairly quickly. had saladbar(of course!), beef medallion wellingtons for appetizer, and prime rib sandwich - all excellent. service via the waitress was very good, whereas still wondering if the other lady really needed to take our bread away at one point? hostess was engaging, place still one of my favourites. love it.

ohhhh yea.... what is not to like?

the saladbar- cold metal plates, ready to be filled with a multitude of fixings, from lettuce and spinach, bacon bits and cheese, to raisins and so forth...

the meal - everything, yes everything is excellent. steaks, seafood, and so on...

favorite appetizer is the beef medallion wellingtons...

the service - knowledgeable, friendly, and lovely ladies...

the only negative is that the neighboring voices from the other tables do get quite loud at times. maybe some soft decor in few key places could help diminish the sounds? find yourself having to talk even louder over the din, which of course adds to others doing the same.

nevertheless, this is the place that i take guests. and most part, need to make a reservation some time ahead. but, its worth it.

there is a reason this place has been open for 35 plus years. superb food and service every time, plus the best saladbari have ever experienced in my wide travels.

had a 7:00 reservation in the lounge. no tables available when we arrived. we waited for a table to open up 15 20 min. we had the mushroom cap appetizer, just mushrooms with cheese. nothing special. my wife had a ny strip i had 10oz prime rib. with firecracker shrimp and lobster. the shrimp were mushy, never had a mushy shrimp before and the flavor was not good. the steaks were just ok.
plus 3 total drinks from the bar. bill came to $110 and change. terrible value for the money. service was good. saladbaris just a saladbari hear people talk how great it is i just don't see it.

mmmm the salad bar. very good, very pricey. to rich for my blood, but the saladbarmmmm. very good. just inflated prices, but boy is that saladbargood.

steaks are average , but boy that saladbarmmm, mmm, mmm

my family and i have been coming here for years ever since i was a kid. i've always enjoyed my dining experience. service is friendly and attentive. the saladbaris phenomenal. i always get a steak and i've never been disappointed. for dessert, you cant go wrong with the mud pie. delicious! great place to visit for a fancy night out.

the best hands down. grew up in ft. wayne and now live in michigan. it's a "have to" when i get home. professionalism to a "t" from the food to the atmosphere to the staff. absolute best saladbaranywhere!! excellence throughout all the years!

best saladbararound. love the saladbarat the cork. it has been years since i have had dinner here- but a frequent diner at lunch. extremely reasonable- try the ahi tuna. great place to take customers. staff is way friendly- make a reservation if you don't want to wait.

kissy, kissy...not!. please people not in a public restaurant! go some where else in private for that.
and rule # 1, at the salad bar, do not take a used salad plate back up to get a refill! that's a no no! there are other people who like to dine, and not be disturbed by your behavior and loud talking, they can easily hear all of your conversation, and would rather not hear it, but you talk so loud, they can't help but hear every word. please respect others, who are also dining, and want to enjoy their meal, and their time together.

very good. this is my favorite place to dine. i love the saladbarand the bread they serve. my favorite is the prime rib, the best in town. ask for extra au jus.
service is the best in town too.

good place. food was very good, service was outstanding. i hate salad bar, just make me a salad please. that said, the saladbarwas clean and fresh. i was seated in the lounge. i highly recommend it. no children allowed in the lounge area. prime rib was good, my wife's tuna was prepared as she liked. twice baked potatoes were mediocre, i'll try a different side next time. a little pricey for the caliber of food, but the perfect service made up for it.

good. the steak was juicy. the ribeye lacked flavor but was tender. the service was great. the saladbarand the new shredded beef egg rolls were greate.

great prime rib. out of state resident. had the prime rib on three separate occasions. your 10 oz prime rib well done (had that twice) was very tender; the steak was the best. usually, other steakhouses make their well done a little tough. your 17 oz prime rib medium well was to die for. parts of the meat was so juicy, i felt like i was drinking the steak cause it was so tender (sooo good). and the saladbarwas "sick". servers were courteous. and being 6'6", it was nice to have server there who was 6'7". loved it.

most overrated place in town. i don't really understand the draw of this place. it's always busy and there's always a wait, but the food sucks. i ordered crab cakes the last time i was there, and they were clearly using frozen crab cakes. i know fort wayne is not on a coast, but this restaurant touts itself as being a little more upscale, so they should bring in fresh fish products. the saladbaris decent but not as good as others have mentioned, and the service is average at best. definitely not worth the money. the bread is good, though! i will give them that!

big steaks. big juicy piece of meat for your money makers. cooked to perfection and the saladbarwoooooo hoooooooo. best i ever had son. i got the 16oz cowboy steak with seasoned baked potato, some of the best i ever had. try it you'll see how good this place is.

remember to get the cowboy cut steak, it's $24, but worth every penny. slice her up and shove her right on in your money maker son.

best in town!. the cork , in my opinion, is the best restuarant in town. the food is consistent and the service is always exemplary. the saladbaris top notch. it's hard to impress someone with a saladbarbut cork manages to do so. i highly recommend the ahi tuna or the chilean sea bass. it is pricey, but worth it for special occasions.
