excellent northindianfood. we ordered
tawa batata chat - took us back to the streets of delhi. crisp fried potato pieces tossed in a tangy chutney. was outstanding
chholey- comes in a bharnj with 2 aloo kulchas and kachumbar salad. arguably the best i’ve had in dubai, reminiscent again of delhi street style chholey. kulchas were soft and the perfect accompaniment
banarsi malai kofta - perfect creamy gravy not too sweet.
bread - paneer kulcha was the best. naan got chewy and the laccha paratha was burnt on the edges
portion sizes are generous, service is discreet, prices reasonable and ambience lovely. will definitely visit again to sample other dishes.

copper chimney has a great reputation in india and with that hope we tried them out in dubai .
resturant is part of the grand millenium hotel which is a 4star delux / 5 star type property.
ambiance wise it’s like any other fine dineindianoutlet .
pros : good food and standard as expected.
valet parking etc behind the hotel

cons: overall they don’t seem prepared for dine in guests and the staff hardly speak or communicate anything . they seem to work at their own pace and might seem slow for many of us if compared to other premium / dine in restaurants . they where hardly 3 tables occupied out of 20 odd tables even on a weekend afternoon on prime lunch hour
wash room also seems make shift and not part of the restaurant , which was not upto the mark and worn down & not cleaned properly

got a feeling , they are loaded with home deliveries and party orders hence don’t seem to focus on dine in .
won’t say staff are slow etc , but they just seem low in body language which needs to pick up and hence things slow down . they did pick things up in the end slightly though

food wise all good and no complaints.
was going for 3 stars but will stick with 4 as i did not have any major unpleasant experience.
will try again after sometime for another experience

today we ordered lunch in the office and everyone loved the food...

tried different dishes but their mutton parda biryani is highly recommended after long i had such flavours of authenticindiandum biryani 💕

the presentation is ligit, the service is prompt and the portion size is enough for two people.

i had also tried their masala cola and rasleela drink truely complimented the food.

truely an awsome place do try them if you like superb dinning experience both vegetarian and non vegetarian options available.

copper chimney happens to be one of my favorite places to dine since my childhood days. i have very fond memories of visiting this restaurant when it used to be in bur dubai earlier, however now it is nestled away in the millennium plaza hotel on sheikh zayed road.copper chimney was originally founded by bollywood filmmaker j k kapur in bombay in 1972 to highlight and celebrate the amazing local recipes and techniques of the slow-cooked dishes found across north india, from peshawar to delhi and was endorsed many a times by our beloved late dilip kumar ji.

at copper chimney you can choose from a variety of mouth-watering kebabs, curries, breads and desserts, all of which are prepared in-house, from-scratch and made to order during every service.

all meats are cooked in custom-made tandoors, which you can observe from the restaurant’s open kitchen as you enjoy your meal .

i cannot fail to mention about their generous portions and their bread basket which had probably all the varieties ofindianbreads.

we visited this place recently and in awe with the ambience. you can see the chef doing live cooking. variety of options in the drinks and food section.

i visited copper chimney restaurant at millennium plaza hotel this week which overlooks the beautiful sheikh zayed rd.

this place is literally a legacy of over 45 years. at the entrance of the hotel you will find the pictures of the legendary actor late dilip kumar with the founder mr j.k kapur.

the best part of copper chimney is the open kitchen and the beautiful vibes it gives showing the antique pieces of theindianculture around the restaurant along with the touch of modern art. from serving biryani in a traditional claypot to authentic bhatti style taste of meat, this place has my heart now.

the soup was so flavourful while the starters made me so happy because of their taste.

the reshmi malai chicken just melted in the mouth while the bhatti chicken tikka reminded me of those kebabs served at weddings.

the mutton biryani was mildly spiced with fragrant rice and masala which satisfied my biryani cravings. the butter chicken with a selection ofindianbreads gave different delicious flavors in every bite.

the bread basket was a selection of butter naan, garlic naan, lacchha paratha, roomali roti, tandoori roti, kalaunji naan...

finally the sweet ending of the delicious kulfi was awesome 👌. this had the authentic taste beautifully cut into cubes and i devoured every bite of it.

the drinks were very refreshing and i loved them a lot.

indeed it was an unforgettable experience at copper chimney.

copper chimney is servingindiancuisine with few modern twist . their starters are stealing the show . samosa chaat and tandoori chicken salad were super delicious. mutton biryani was full of flavors and gulab jamuns were melting in mouth. it is located on very prime and easy to access location .
service and ambiance are good . staff is also friendly

being an 80s kid & having grown up in the city of bollywood we always wondered where the glamorous people hung out ! grapevine had it, there was one such popular hang out for all the stars because of its warm, cozy ambience & exquisite food !
well that many years later nostalgia was at its best when i entered @copperchimney.uae & saw all the pictures of the biggest stars on the walls, the same warm, cozy ambience and the most beautiful & exquisite food.

i now remember this restaurant was the talk of the town for the way they cooked their delicious recipes that transcended one generation to the next and why all the famous people were always here, they do make a statement even today !

from their soft tender tandoori meats and succulent sea food to the soft melt in the mouth paneer dishes, some wonderful indo-fusion dishes. from the presentation, to the irresistible aroma & the glorious taste. they checked all the boxes for me.

authentic deliciousindiandelicacies great ambiance and good service.
starting of with starters and soup herbed tomato soup to begin with was a great start.
in appetizer dili ki aloo tikki was full of flavors topped with a hint green chutney.
on the other hand the bhatti chicken tikka was well marinated and spices could be well
tasted.
their daal maharaja was showstopper full of flavors and finger licking served with bread basket.
where as jaipur salad was more of blend of bhel and sev.
lastly the patiala kulfi cubes were good!
over all experience at copper chimney located at grand millennium was great 😊

the restaurant servesindiancuisine with few modern twist. from food to service everything was on point. all the dishes were freshly prepared ,i tried their almond chicken soup, tandoori chicken salad, reshmi malai chicken, bhatti chicken tikka & biryani is worth a mention, cooked in a claypot , it was served with a raita & was one of the best biryani i had in uae.

all the above amazing food was ended with their special dessert was divine.. patiala kulfi ,it was superb outstanding dessert... dil mangay more ❣️
