connie's restaurant & steakhouse

the spaghetti bolognese was not exactly done to a turn but good enough a 7 on 10. i hadorderedextra cheese which turned out to be just half a spoonful sprinkled over the spaghetti, which was quite disappointing.

i hate coming here to write a negative review, but the legend of connie's sadly needs to be debunked. for starters, the server insisted that a ribeye can only be served well done - truly the worst way to eat a steak and this cut especially. i was surprised and chose not to order this, seeing as i didn't want to ruin my relationship with my favourite cut of meat. i insteadordereda new york steak - and while i wasn't expecting it to be an authentic ny strip steak, the cut itself was a pretty tasteless, scrawny tenderloin as opposed to even a sirloin. the sauce was unremarkable. my friend's steak diane on the other hand, was a nightmare. the sauce was so overwhelmingly loaded with mustard with no attempt to balance it at all, almost as if an entire bottle of cheap all-american mustard had been squeezed on her steak. i love dining at bangalore's most famed, legendary restaurants and i feel more disappointed than anyone else when they fail to live up to their storied pasts. connie's, i believe you can do better than this.

we went to the restaurant to celebrate friend's wedding anniversary. the place was a recommendation from someone else, weordered4stakes, the taste was not up to the mark. had stakes from truffles they are much more pocket friendly and tasty. the dishes are too pricely which doesnt come up to the ambience and the way quality of food. my husbandorderedfor pork, which was rarely cooked, again a disappointment on that.

first and last order from these looters!orderedfish steak in thyme sauce and chicken wings. the chicken used in wings was so old and stale that i had to throw out the whole dish. it wasn't even fit for my dog. the fish was drowned in mushroom sauce and was just about ok. never gonna repeat order here

food is not really tasty here. i honestly feel it’s overrated. ambience is decent. feels like an age-old setup.

i’veordereda steak burger but it was quite disappointing. wine was good (but it was obviously some commercial stuff - so please ignore) - meat was rubbery and unpleasant to consume!

i may haveorderedthe wrong dish, yet..i believe this place shall work on their menu.

in comparison to plan b’s food, this may feel an okay-ish experience.

i haveorderedt one steak and when i saw the quantity i was so happy but the moment i tried eating it i was so disappointed cause this restaurant was on my bucket list for so long and had so much of expectations. it was like chewing a rubber i mean i had t one steak before and i thought it’s something else, it was stale, cold and salty. literally spend 1600 all in total just to waste the entire food. the only thing i liked was the nojito it was a mojito with mint i loved it and i won’t lie i even like the restaurant ambiance’s but it’s of no use if i cannot enjoy the food

this is usually our go-to starter. and it's always a 5/5. but this time weorderedit was overcooked and far from juicy, which was very surprising. not at par with prior experience.

iorderedfor the first time here after checking out the menu and pricing thinking that the food is going to be amazing. after tasting, i had terrible sense of feeling. talking to myself saying why so expensive bro? the taste of food is below average. nothing more to add period.

weordered3 steaks ..pork beef and chicken .. only the chicken steak was good the other two were not upto the mark ..we alsoorderedchicken wings which was good ..had been to this place ..feel like the taste of food has gone down ..

i hadordered2 chicken steaks for my family.
as i live in koramangala but was visiting coles park, i requested a friend tanya bhatt to order for me. the two steaks with an overdoze of pungent sause with 8 to 9 pieces of grilled cauliflower and 4 mini bread pieces were in the packaging.
the quality, quantity and presentation could not be worse.
it coated me rs 1183 with tax which is a five star rate. i was contemplating if i should order from miller's 46 but chose connie's, surely a judgement error.
very below average food with no price performance or presentation.
the least i expected for this price was sauce packed separately and some true continental veggies like zucchini, cherry tomato, mushroom , baby corn, carrot , french beans and not some north indian gobi tawa fry.
very very disappointing.

i asked for the burger name to be put on packaging. i hadordered4 burgers. i don't know how they deliver food without lables. and cold and soggy burgers are definitely not tasty.

finally went here after so many attempts past few years
either due to the weather or traffic or what ever
this cross country ( city in my case) was so so so worth it

we actually parcelled them back as no way could we finish it
the portions here are generous
the quality of food superb
so looking at that the pricing is very good
because easily a burger csn be shared by 2 or a portiom of wings
and guess what we get 4 large slices of garlic
bread on the house
need to go back once again after starving to goegd on the other items on their menu
so glad i finally made it here

firstly iorderedfor a pork steak and got a chicken steak.
secondly the paprika steak was horrible,
it was flavourless, the vegetables were too less and the chicken was undercooked.
i have had better steak and this place isnt worth the hype and price.

new york steak- which is served with a side of veggies, mashed potatoes and garlic bread.
bbq beef double decker burger- served with fries.
i absolutely loved my new york steak. it was super juicy and tender along with some fresh veggies and the mashed potatoes were so creamy and let’s not forget the garlic bread which was crisp and soft all in one, it just pulled it off. these sides served accompanied one and another perfectly and added an extremely wonderful flavour to the steak. i’ve had steaks from other places but i always eat here because they’re the best and they still are the best. this was an extraordinary and tasteful experience.
the bbq beef double decker burger can be eaten by two people and it would be stomach filling. the burger as a whole was so filling, the meat patties were so succulent along with the cheese and lettuce making it more juicy. the whole burger is so tasty and delightful.
and everything is surely worth the price.
