ilovethe place and their staff were really kind. the place was quite crowded when we went there but we were able to find a nice spot. their frappes and cakes were delicious however i would not recommend their chocolate waffle. i didn't really like it but you can always try it if you like.

what i reallyloveabout the place are the memories we shared with my friends in every event they organize.

ilovemusic, the poetry, smiles, tears, laughters. what i don't like is the unreasonable price of the drinks. they taste so-so, just average, but their price is higher than any other cafes in town, to mention starbucks.

what i really admire about coffee prince is theirlovefor local artists, they hold events such as poetry night, jam sessions, open mic, book launching and slogos night. their food is okay, my favorite is their nutella s'mores pizza. i also tried their spicy pork lunch meal for 99 pesos and level 2 spicy is not the mediocre spicy it is really spicy. for their pricing, i think it's a little expensive.

pros:
- i've always loved their frappes.
- they've added new selections on the menu.
- they made renovations and added more space, which means new places to take good photos.
- ilovethe outdoor area, the paintings on the wall look so vibrant and colorful. they've added more lights outside for a more scenic view in the evening.
- event nights on weekends

cons (-ish):
- it's also a good place to study (for me, preferably by group), but i avoid studying there on weekends since it's mostly jampacked with events and, well, people. 😅
- sometimes, the restroom does not have water.

all in all, it's a great place to hangout and chill with friends.

place: i'm gonna rate their place @ 4,the place is really good, very relaxing, quite and not so crowded. i like the interior of the place and how they accentuate the colors. it's good to look at.

food: the most important part.. well, hmmm... i'd say i'll give it a 3. we're still a bit full when we came here so we just ordered strawberry lemon freeze, mixed berries smoothie and choco waffle. i ordered mixed berries for my self and my fiance got strawberry lemon for himself.. but honestly i like the strawberry lemon over mixed berries, simply because strawberry lemon has this sour taste which compliments to the sweetness of it, i'd say it wasn't boring unlike mixed berries which didn't met much of my expectations.... i was actually expecting it to be sour and very thrilling inside my mouth but it was so blunt and flat. the choco waffle was delish....ilovehow the ice cream perfectly compliments with the warm waffle... it wasn't too sweet as well it was just perfect.

cost efficiency: hmm... it's just a little pricy for me.. well compare with other café that offers similar service.

service: i hate going to place where the service crews don't even smile... and i think this place is one of those... i don't feel that welcoming atmosphere... i didn't feel special when i get in... well after all that's what makes a good customer service right? when you feel special and valued. i didn't have that feel in here... so 2 for customer service.

over all... i'd say.... i may or may not come back. there's nothing special with this place.

café at the heart of the city – that is how i can describe the newly opened (not new anymore as i’m posting this coz i visited the café a month ago) café. i also feel like i’m in a doll house the whole time i was inside the cafe, probably because of their interior setup.

lately, cebu has been a home to many coffee houses. from time to time, there are a lot of cafes opening within just a month, just like how 7/11 boomed here. coffee prince cebu is no difference, they opened their doors last august 17, 2014 but it wasn’t until friday of that week that i visited the place.

based from the info i’ve heard ’round town, coffee prince is based on the korean tv series with the same name, coffee prince. i think that’s why their uniform also resembles those from the series. apart from the previous cafe i’ve visited, coffee prince cebu is more like starbucks, bo’s coffee and the earlier coffee houses here, though they differ in their setup (i meant the interior of course). the café is more like a korean touch and the division of their room-like place is more like that of the gentleman coffee house (though i haven’t visited that yet… i just saw it).

their products are so affordable and they did not (at least that was how i saw it) offer korean foods despite the korean-like ambiance. they offer their guests pastas and desserts like lasagna and choco waffle. their drinks and food price ranges from php 170 to php 200. you can find their menu on their counter and also the password for their wifi is in the counter area but you can also approach one of their crew to ask for a password.

the place is also a hotspot area with i think 3 sources. their entertainment is that wig thingy were you can take pictures with those wigs on and you’ll also definitelylovethe stuff toys they displayed there. their stuff toys remind me of those from the korean tv series, princess hours. they also have 4 heart-shaped screens (i’m not quite sure if screen is an appropriate term for that) on which you put yourlovelocks.

note: originally wrote this on my blog

korean theme or owned coffee shop are proliferating like mushrooms in the queen city of the south recently yet only quite a few of them have able to manage to do great. coffee prince for instance is doing pretty well on that.

ilovethe fact that they own the entire building along jones avenue and convert it into a coffee shop. the location is very accessible and one of the driving force to keep its customer coming back. also, the spacious dinning area is commendable. to add, their staff have deep product knowledge and friend although some needs a little brush up.

on the whole, i'll definitely be back here and hope to see some surprises.

watch this place transform at night! great lighting, lovethe tiny details and personal touches they did with the place. the second level has bunk compartments for the gang. more affordable than mall coffeeshops. try their #princefrappe, #chocowafflealamode and #nachos! good chill spot during your downtime. :) #coffeeprincecebu #cebufoodcrawl #smartlife
