it is that good.. i recently considered taking a trip tomontrealfor the mere sake of enjoying a cupcake from cocoa locale. they are indeed that good. the flavours are complex, lovely and subtle but entirely unpretentious. their quality is unparalleled in any other cupcakery in the entire universe -of that i am quite confident. perhaps not as well recognized, but equally worthy of mention, is the chocolate chip cookies. they are the perfect balance of chewy and crumbly. oh, and the owner/baker is actually too sweet for words. just be sure to not wait until too late in the afternoon to stop by- she often sells out quite early.
