so much better than last time.... something's definitely changed at coasters - for the better! we're regulars & the last time we went, we swore we'd never go back b/c everything was horrible. well...creatures of habit that we are, we went the other night & to our surprise there's a great new menu & our wings and potato skins (new to the menu) were absolutely delicious! it's the cleanest, friendliest sportsbarin indialantic and very popular w/the locals. their beer menu is two pages and their sandwiches & burgers are huge! so glad these changes were made. they were needed & will keep us coming back!

loveexiticwomen. i love the wings at coasters they offer a spicy but very flavorfull called the hot gargoyle that is not on the menu. i usually go there on a saturday for lunch and the bartender joey is extremally knowledgeable about all the beers they offer as they have i believe over 120 beers at any given time and they change some of the beers out every month so you can sample an ounce or two at n/c and also their menu is a great variety and the food is exceptionally fresh and made to order. a great sportsbarwith a good staff i hightly recommend coasters !!

great ale but verbally abusive barmaid. some great beers & ales here and edible food. one of their barmaids can be a pain in the drain (more later).

they have a very small oven - food orders can be backed up on busy nights for 30 minutes. pizza crust is lousy but their sandwiches are fine. fish and chips are very fishy flavor (never again!). except for an occasional dead-beat bar-fly type , it's generally a good "higher end" upbeat clientele from a diverse social-economic demographic. you'll find flaming liberals, neocons/conservatives, libertarians and anarchists and "just give peace a chance" kinds here. all are usually (amazingly) well behaved and laid back. because of that diversity be prepared to have "interesting" random conversations at thebarthat can range from typicalbartalk (bawdy, sports & local gossip) to rocket science, philosophy and theology. that is, if the bartender is not monopolizing the conversation and interjecting her opinions (whatever happened to the old bartender rule - "a bartender should be seen but never heard?").

on that proceeding point, if you want good free entertainment (and have the rare fortitude to take the abuse & insults) try to catch one of their older female bartenders ("sheryl") in one of her "many splendered moods". in one instant her gruff manner can be tolerable and congenial (in her own "special" way) then a moment later (or the next time you come in) she can go from dr. jekyl to mr. hyde. the roller coaster ride can be either fun or brutal as it "coasts" from a sarcastic and flippant or cold indifferentism and descends rapidly into the dreaded verbally-abusive mode. so, if she does not like you for whatever reason de jure (or becomes stressed at the high pour rate - which is quite often) she will become very catty & "punish you" to make her sentiments conspicuous. so, on such occassions be prepared to sit at a filtybartop with no service for a long time waiting for "your slot" in her pecking order to come up before you are even acknowledged (i.e. when she's done asking everyone-else at thebarif they want anything even though they have full pints in their hands and food in front of them).

coasters is an "interesting" clash of cultures - but what would anyone expect from a place that caters to the blue-collar bud-light sort sitting side by side with: craft ale drinkers, wine sippers and the red-bull jagger bomber crowd? cheers...

stay away on monday nights. they have trivia if you are not a monday night trivia regular you are not allowed to play or sit at a table. all of the tables are reserved for their regular monday night crowd.i dove over half an hour thebarwith a group of friends to play trivia and i was told by the staff to find a place at thebaror leave so we took our buisness to the brocken barrel.

large beer selection, decent food. you really go to coaster's for the great selection of microbrews available on-tap and in the bottle. they have most of the larger scale imports and domestics as well plus a full bar. the huge stacked sandwiches, wings, bartop pizza, salads, and burgers are icing on the cake. the place really fills up on game days.
