the food wasgoodbut creamier than needed. but what actually brought the review down was the service. the staff was mostly non responsive, didn't know much about the dishes on the menu, the manner of serving the food wasn't courteous. there was almost a casual way of "throwing" the dish plate on the table, they were not aware of the diner's space, e.g. they bumped into my mother quite a few times while moving away from the table. it's as if they're not trained in waiting on customers.
on top of this, we had made a birthday reservation here and we only got a table decorated with balloons. we got a leftover dish packed, and they packed it in a plastic bag instead of a container.
