best pasta and steak i’ve ever had. with such friendlystaffand engaging decor it’s hard not to love this place.

i will 100% be revisiting and recommend to family and friends visiting edinburgh.

this is as close you will get to good italian food outside italy. and if you are in edinburgh for 3 days and end up visiting this place 2 times - one can be sure that the food is really good.

so i ordered the following on the two occasions - mushroom risotto, ravioli with smoked mozzarella and aubergine, quattroformaggi and spinach baked pasta, mediterania pizza and ice creams!!

the food was spectacular and thestaffwas also very helpful - must visit if you are in edinburgh.

we popped in to ciao roma on friday night with two of my mums pals. from the moment we walked in, thestaffwere friendly and attentive, even offering us a free limoncello at the end of the meal.
i had pate and a parma pizza and they were both delicious. my mum is gluten intolerant and they went above and beyond to make sure there were options for her which she also said was delicious.
ciao roma is a relaxed place where you can go for a date, family gathering, or something more formal.
would definitely recommend.
