a lovely surprise!

must admit, we judged it a bit from the outside, but took the chance and by golly it paid off! partner had the haggis ravioli and he savoured every bite, i had the best hampizzaanyone could ask for. service was first class, very polite and very efficient. very reasonably priced too. will definitely go back on our next visit to edinburgh.

this is as close you will get to good italian food outside italy. and if you are in edinburgh for 3 days and end up visiting this place 2 times - one can be sure that the food is really good.

so i ordered the following on the two occasions - mushroom risotto, ravioli with smoked mozzarella and aubergine, quattroformaggi and spinach baked pasta, mediteraniapizzaand ice creams!!

the food was spectacular and the staff was also very helpful - must visit if you are in edinburgh.

we popped in to ciao roma on friday night with two of my mums pals. from the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and attentive, even offering us a free limoncello at the end of the meal.
i had pate and a parmapizzaand they were both delicious. my mum is gluten intolerant and they went above and beyond to make sure there were options for her which she also said was delicious.
ciao roma is a relaxed place where you can go for a date, family gathering, or something more formal.
would definitely recommend.
