simply amazing. live music of flute and tabla,goodservice by ms. shila singh, gorgeous views of monsoon palace, city palace, jag mandir, lake pichola with candle light dinner on roof top restaurant, was spellbound !!

went for a night out and was pleasantly surprised.
the ambiance is stunning, felt like royalty.
the service very professional and humble.
the food was delicious and maybe the best non veg fare i had in udaipur.
and the expenditure was reasonable considering the quality of the food. students beware though, the prices are not exactly student friendly.
however if you are looking for a date night, with superb ambiance,goodfood and very kind hospitality, this is a place you wouldn't want to miss.
definitely recommended.

recently went to chunda restaurant with family for fine dine dinner. it's was roof top, ambience was good. but it was too cold up there. it was viewing the pichola lake.

good was good. hakka noodles was special to mention. pizza and paneer chilli was also ok.

things to improve is that, through its candle light dinner, some more candles should be there to provide adequate light. in the images anyone can guess the inadequacy of the light.

as name suggests the palace is worth time spending place we njoyed the view from restaurant rooftop it was spectacular must visit for candle light dinner

the menu was having both veg and non veg but has seperate kitchens for the same the taste was verygoodand staff persons were very polite and dedicated towards the guest they also changed our soup and made it again as per our specifications

one of the best restaurants with excellent view andgoodfood. the portions are alsogoodand tastes reallygoodeven for indians ( as mostly 3-5star restaurants prepare food with foreign tourists in mind).

a perfect roof top location. situated near sajjangarh, it has extensive range of items on their menu with perfect blend of smokiness in tandoori items. food is tasty and service is fast as well.

plus the bar section on roof top is pretty amazing. they have customizable cocktails as well andgoodvariety of nibbles available.

with the amazing view of pichola lake,one of the best place to have your food with your loved one..went for lunch tried margarita pizza which large and amazing in taste with thegoodamount of melted cheese.also tried peas pulav which is freshly made with spices served along with curd which is alsogoodin taste

for agoodambience and having swimming pool and rooftop ambience all together this is must visit place in udaipur..staff behaviour is good.overall it wasgoodexperience

the journey from entrance to restaurant depicts the history and our royal culture of udaipur. beautiful interior with mirror work, photo frames, multiple waiting areas. pool side lighting was amazing with an orange-yellow combination showing the complete property in its royal andaaz. 

been to this place recently for my birthday. the long excitement went vague when they didn't serve dinner due to wedding booking at the property.  nobody was there to guide us for the way to restaurant. take the orders for so long. 

i find services are ok (maybe because of wedding, but we was only restaurant guest at the time we reached), it seems like they are trying very hard but don't quite get it right. any simple request is met with a bewildered expression and a conference between 2 to 3 employees while they figure out how to proceed for the order we made. after almost half an hour to 45 mins, we asked for water which was not served on the first contact while ordering. 

talking about the food, we ordered chicken satay as this was only available with them after sandwich or pasta and so basic hot and sour vegetable soup. the soup was with extra soya sauce added to it already. the vegetables included with it were notgoodat the taste. chicken satay was a bit oily. the taste was ok-ok.  

the best part of the dinner was ordering drinks and got complimentary roasted papads with mint chutney and that was all amazing. all together an average experience just because of this point.

we went to this palace theme based hotel for a quite candle light dinner. we ordered aprés ski soup (veg broth with sweet corn), palace reshmi seekh (pic with my review) and for main course- laal maas and daal baati churma. the quality of food was very good. we tasted both non veg and veg speciality food of rajasthan. laal maas was exquisitely cooked, it tasted very good, i would any day recommend this dish from this restaurant. daal baati churma was also cooked very nicely, with this they served lesun ki chatni which added to the taste. all in all from appetizers to main course all the dishes tasted good. i would recommend this place when in udaipur for food lovers. the ambience of this place was mesmerizing. i have shared some pics of the ambience with my review. lakeside view, rooftop andgoodfood made my day.

been to this place recently the much hyped and royal place the chunda place, we didnt plan to go to chunda but while we were on our way its beauty attracted us yes this place has that charm in it. the place was beautifully lit in a pleasant weather. rooftop restaurant provides a distant view of city palace and pichola lake, the view is mesmerizing. place is quite calm with low instrumental music the place has three seating area. indoor, rooftop and outdoor area. indoor area is just fine but rooftop area justifies the name. the moment you walk in you get welcoming feeling with the royal touch with mirror work. the journey from entrance to restaurant depicts the history and our royal culture. now lets talk about food and drinks so we had bunch of vegetarians also with us so we ordered:

 • chicken bhuna- main course with sufficient quantity for four people but taste was just fine.
 • panner butter masala- this dish will surely take you to gujarat or you can try it in form of dessert as well.
 • tandoori chicken- the only dish which provoked me to order more and made me believe in their chef, the dish was amazinglygood5/5.
 • kung pao chicken- this was their staff's recommendation and it costed us 700 bucks which was chicken peices with peanuts in in it. the dish was worth 70 bucks and if we talk taste wise it was worth 7 bucks.
 • chicken dum biryani- with all the believe in biryani and its simplicity the dish can never gow wrong but it seemed they proved us wrong by providing the stale chicken in biryani.
 • complimentary dish - amritsari - basically panner sliced in an accurate manner fried to ita perfection and topped with chutney- as we didn't pay for it lets call it out a nice dish.
 • aubergine timbale- these were veg kebabs which itself sounds like joke to me but yes they were soft and tasted fine if you like them dry u will like it too.
 • khumb ki tikka- mushroom tikkis which were fine.

complimentary - just to keep up the tradition we ordered drinks also and got complimentary roasted papads with mint chutney and the reason it is being mentioned here is because this was the best part of the dinner.

do visit for ambiance but do not waste money on food order drinks to pass your time while enjoying the view.

ps: liit also sucks so stick to normal drinks, order cocktails and mocktails at your own risk..

the ambience is great, so is the service and facilities. the food is decent and seemed fresh and hadgoodflavours too. but too expensive. need to reduce the prices asap. need to offer more for the price or just reduce the price by atleast a quarter. that's still pricy but atleast marginally acceptable.

a place with perfect laxury experiance, verygoodambiance and polite staff. also food here is awsome in taste. we ordered dal makhani, kadai paneer, pasta, tiramisu... we all loved the food and definitely recomended this place.
