please never book a table here as the staff here doesn’t understand it. we booked a table over zomato and confirmed the booking thrice over call before reaching the restaurant for the corner lake view table. after reaching the place, the staff mentioned that no corner lake view table is available and they weren’t even humble while mentioning the same.
i request everyone to try to avoid the place if you want a peacefuldinnerin udaipur.

fyi.. found this place very boring also

they suggested paneer kadhai and crispy corn since that’s the most famous dishes apparently. not sure how they concluded that. the paneer kadhai was bland . crispy corn was okayish and roti was over priced . there are way better places in udaipur probably as pricy as this place or even more but with much better view and definitely better taste. even the cafés have better food than this place . big disappointment. unfortunately we left udaipur with a disappointingdinner, just want to save others from that.

as name suggests the palace is worth time spending place we njoyed the view from restaurant rooftop it was spectacular must visit for candle lightdinner

the menu was having both veg and non veg but has seperate kitchens for the same the taste was very good and staff persons were very polite and dedicated towards the guest they also changed our soup and made it again as per our specifications

went there on saturday night for dinner. place is nicely done and got superb ambience as it is open air. food was nice and our attendant was very responsive. only thing is i didn’t like was their table management they have this private section sort of place in individual huts when we went out 5 only 1 was occupied. when we requested for one of those table we were told they are all reserved in fact they didn’t give us any of the front tables stating they have reservations. we finished ourdinneraround 10 and restaurant closes at 10:30 surprisingly all the time we were none of the huts got occupied nor the front tables. this is really disappointing thing in spite of having tables they don’t give it god knows for what reason.

the journey from entrance to restaurant depicts the history and our royal culture of udaipur. beautiful interior with mirror work, photo frames, multiple waiting areas. pool side lighting was amazing with an orange-yellow combination showing the complete property in its royal andaaz. 

been to this place recently for my birthday. the long excitement went vague when they didn't servedinnerdue to wedding booking at the property.  nobody was there to guide us for the way to restaurant. take the orders for so long. 

i find services are ok (maybe because of wedding, but we was only restaurant guest at the time we reached), it seems like they are trying very hard but don't quite get it right. any simple request is met with a bewildered expression and a conference between 2 to 3 employees while they figure out how to proceed for the order we made. after almost half an hour to 45 mins, we asked for water which was not served on the first contact while ordering. 

talking about the food, we ordered chicken satay as this was only available with them after sandwich or pasta and so basic hot and sour vegetable soup. the soup was with extra soya sauce added to it already. the vegetables included with it were not good at the taste. chicken satay was a bit oily. the taste was ok-ok.  

the best part of thedinnerwas ordering drinks and got complimentary roasted papads with mint chutney and that was all amazing. all together an average experience just because of this point.

visited the restaurant n hotel for coupledinnerand it was amazing to see the ambiance n view. food n service was excellent. staff are well trained. you will find a good choice of menu with multiple choice. definitely will visit again.

i had my birthdaydinnerat royal cuisine restaurant (long terrace). everything was well planned, food and service is really excellent.
they have decorated our table and cake tray to surprise us. special thanks to entire f&b team who made this day as very special.

we happened to stay at chunda palace hotel and of course we did have our meals at their rooftop restaurant. 
thedinnerexperience was amazing especially when we tried the authentic rajasthani food. the specialities are a must try.
the cocktails however needed some perfection.
the breakfast is a decent spread but u have the same menu being served for two days continuously.
the seconddinnerwe had at the rooftop was lacking on the service front. there were inordinate delays despite that we had ordered before the other guests arrived. quite disappointing since the manager in duty also didn't speed it up but spent time chatting with that group.
