bad service, bad food, bad prices. i rarely write a negative review but this was just a horrible experience. rude staff and slow service were the beginning of a wasted lunch. then came the $7 milk mixed with oreos 'all-star shake' which was an all-star waste of money. but hey maybe the star of the menu the insano burger will save things? not even close. i never eaten such a bland burger. boring old bun and the worst meat pattie i think i've ever eaten. tasted basically like mince with no seasoning and no other flavour. the 'pizza' fries were passable but nowhere near worth the money given that the snack chips are $2 and the small chips $3 but they only take $1 off and not $2 when you get the pizza fries with your burger (so a grand total of $7 for a handful of fries and cheap cheese and processed meat). i love food and rarely give it up without a fight but the dogs for half of this because it seemed more to their tastebuds. at a grad total of over $50 for two people don't waste your time.

bad service. so went in was kinda busy. but the staff where so bloody rude and to top it off so guy covered in what looked like paint clothes started work, didn't even wash his hands.......

delicious fishy. fish burger is awesome. great value for money and staff are helpful and very friendly, even if you do rock up 5 minutes before they close.

donut burger is awesome! i dont know how it works but it does! onion rings however were average... way too much batter and too oily. also deep fried mars bar is a must try!

average at best. have been here a couple of times. love the curly fries but the burgers are very average unfortunately. love the extensive drink options however.

great fish and chips. this place would have to be some of the best fish and chips in the area and it is very affordable. they also do a great burger. do yourself a favour and pop in one night.

great!!. really love this place, though they've been out of curly fries each & every time we've gone there, what's with that? 0.o

chompers is a laid back kind of place, where the best seat in the house eat is outside on the plastic chairs with mates and a “leave your diets behind” attitude. as well as their burgers they offer fish & chips, curly fries, potato skins and a selection of deep fried desserts. all of their burgers are available in different sizes and can all be “donified”. as it was our first experience we thought we’d keep it sensible and grab a donified hamburger that came with two krispy kreme donuts, handmade chompers juicy mince patty on a soft burger bun with fresh lettuce, sliced tomato, fried onion and barbeque sauce.

great burgers. ordered chicken burger with "ch-acon" add on. friendly staff. would come again.

i'll second that - yum yum!. best chips i've had that i can remember from a takeout. just went for a rainy-day chippie fix, so can't review anything else, but the menu looks great. service friendly and fast.

disappointed. i went to chompers earlier in the summer with my elderly father and young daughter on one of those exceptionally hot days of around 36 degrees. we were actually looking for a place to escape the heat and chose to 'eat in' at chompers at one of the small tables inside. the air conditioning wasn't working particularly well and my daughter & father, in particular, were suffering from the heat but when i asked if they had bottled water to serve at the tables i was told that 'no they did not' with the expectation that you would buys drinks from the fridge. i think that is fair enough for take-away but not when you are being served at one of the tables and really is one of the most basic of services they should provide.

went there on a lazy hot saturday arvo so there was not many other customers about. ordered the crumbed snapper with sweet potato fries and gravy. fish was crumbed to perfection! still very crispy when i drizzled heaps of lemon on it and it was cooked so nicely- firm yet tasty and juicy. was probably not the best combo with sweet potato fries and gravy- but separately they were each very delicious! can't wait to order via the chompers app next time!!!

good food, good service, good value.. burgers are yummo - patties are home made and cooked infront of you. staff are always very friendly and efficient - even when under pressure (people lined up out the door). i've only ever had one bad thing from here and that was a potato scallop that had been sitting in the hot box for too long (i should of known better). its a good idea to call ahead and order. the menu is a bit confusing as there is too much stuff on it but if you can see past that - this is a great spot for a quick bite.
