chai shai restaurant and coffee shop

i ordered bun kabab and karahi both were below average.
bun kabab just tasted of dal and nothing else.
the karahi did not even look like a karahi, the chicken was undercooked and dinttastelike a karahi.
i would never recommend this place to anyone
poor food quality, waste of time and money.
the ones giving good reviews about anda wala burger have never tasted good food. people are fooling with wrong positive reviews .

bbq, handi, karahi or whatever food you order wouldnt make any difference as at the end you b eating just red chilli and spices. i ordered bbq platter and mutton shinwari and all i couldtastewas just the chili. just cook anything at home and add few spoons of red chilli and u ll get the sametasteat home

i tried this restaurant countinusily three days, it was amazingtasteall food items and excellent service , manager sukhanwar gave me best services. thanks chai shai management.

if u are looking for good food, this is not the place to go.
i ordered mutton karahi, chicken karahai and jalferazi, nothingtastegood.
may be cafe side is good.

good food, exactly like pakistanitaste, enjoyed the ambiance and food. tea was so perfect loved this alot. handi and chapli kabab also good but we personally didnt like beef bihari boti that much would give 7/10

it wasn't fresh, alsotastewas not as expected expensive... not worth to try again

2nd visit: went there for dinner with the family. ordered mutton karhai, chicken biryani and their lava-daal shashkay (daal chawal). the food was really delicious. thetasteand the spices were on point and the tandoori rotis were perfect. this time, the chai was perfectly done. can’t wait to go back and try some of their other items.

this place will give you all kinds of pakistan feels. the truck art inspired decor is beautifully done!! they have a separate section for dining and a separate section for shisha.

1st visit: we went post-dinner for shisha and chai. the shisha was good but the chai was a bit of a let down. it wasn’t as good as people were raving about it, but i’m guessing because of the eid rush, they could be busy. the chai is served in a cute little kettle.

will definitely go back and try the food and the chai again.

increase food quality, cook mutton well as it was smelly, barbeq was very cold. overall restaurant needs to increasetasteby cooking quality food similar to lal qila, bbq tonight, kebab shop, daisy tarka etc...

was excited to see a pakistani restaurant open up with so much hype but was sadly let down with the experience.. the only good parts were the aloo & laccha parathas, meethi lassi that tasted amazing and the interiors, very lively ambiance.

now for the cons.. we went for suhour and the restaurant was completely empty on the family side except some people from management were sitting in a corner.. as one expects from a new outlet, you welcome your guests and show signs of good hospitality to retain the customers, especially as pakistan is known for hosting guests, however, a lady rudely sent a waiter to check our temperature after we were seated and didn’t bother to check up whether we enjoyed the food or even a simple ‘welcome to our restaurant’, which was off putting. most restaurants with good customer service but average food go far only by treating their customers well but this place seems to take the risk of letting their customers decide for themselves if they would like to come back after not being acknowledged, not even welcomed.

as for the food, it looked really good, but lackedtastemajorly. the halwa was barely 2 spoons as seen in the picture, you would expect at least a plate or more than 2 bites for 6 dhs but this seemed like it should’ve been complimentary for its size. the chana and aloo tarkari tasted almost same, no spice ortasteat all. now for the chai.. they’ve priced it at 6 dhs for an average cup of chai, not sure why but wishing them the best of luck with this strategy.

all in all, an average experience that could’ve been improved with just a smile on the manager’s face or an introduction to the restaurant especially since we were all for supporting a new business. thetastewas also quite lackluster, nothing to rave about.

ajman mein pakistani restaurant chai shai sehri time ka experience koi khas acha nahi raha ,qeema paratha aur aloo paratha itna oily tha , sada paratha phir bhi behter tha ,allo ki terkari aur choly dono ka ek hetastetha aur halwa ki quantity tu aesi thi k lag raha tha bastastekerny k lein diya hy ,chai katastebilkul acha nahi aur price kafi ziyada hy, resturant ki decoration per kafi mehnat ki hy or achi hy, overall average experience.

went to chai shai for breakfast..

they have very few breakfast options currently
so we had halwa puri
masala omelette
karak chai
mango lassi
sweet lassi
lacha paratha

a bit pricy but the portions very good.
loved halwa puri combo.. esp channy ka salad with tarka.
but unfortunately the suji halwa had an overpoweringtasteof green cardamom and an excess amount of orange - red colour. which i think need to be fixed.

lacha paratha was absolutely dilicious, tasted dilicious with masala omelette

chai was great..

both the sweet n mango lassi were spectacular

so for me best was mangi lassi, lacha paratha, channy ka salad n puri..
highly recommended for breakfast


and i would suggest them to add some nigerian, paye kind of things in breakfast too.


ambiance is amazing beyond words and so as the services..
