who would expect to be served tea that tastes like the one your mum makes for you with the best ingredients. well, my expectations were surpassed. i can safely say, this chai has been one of the best and as good as the ones made in calcutta - that is the land of chai. recreating the iconic vada pao of bombay is a lot to match upto, and boy, how intricately were the flavours matched with that soft, pillowy pao and perfect chutneys.
hardcore bombay lover, this restaurant feels like home!

visited chai n gupshup once. slow in service. but now am ordering through zomato and they offer a better service. reasonably ok priced for snacks but exorbitant cost for tea. must try is their samosa which reminds me of my punjab days. veg sandwich is a meal itself with 3 layered bread and lot of stuffing including cheese. batata vada authentic mumbai taste. tea is good and tried different varieties and i liked ginger tea. they pack tea in a cardboard flask which is good and keeps it hot.

situated in a residential area, it is good for hangout with friends. colorful place. late delivery of food. okayish taste. expensive for the mediocre taste. the cold tea and soda section doesn't taste too good, given that the name of the place is based on beverages!!

i had visited chai and gupshup before but wanted to try thier new location so went on a weekday. the staff was incompetent and slow. i had to wait for almost 20 mins just to place my order. the food was avarage. on the whole.the experience was just disappointing.

i ordered for a thandai milkshake but got no taste of thandai.
the dahi kabab was good but the dabeli was a complete disappointment. it just contained a pav with boiled potatoes.

best place for chai lovers. chai+vada pav would be a great combo. vada pav served was really tasty. the vada was very soft with the perfect flavour of the stuffing(mashed potatoes).

best variety of tea..! basic cutting chai is a master piece.! sabudhanavada was a treat with the chai.! the cashews here and there in the vada just made my tea time a better one.!

excellent place for evening chat and chai.. cost is nominal and there are many varieties of tea and nice chat options as well.. taste is very good and prompt service

we ordered ragda pattice. it was cold and tasteless. green lemon tea had no flavour of green tea and was too bitter due to too much lemon. service has to be improved.

"the worst" french fries i have ever eaten! i would give zero stars really. ragada pattice too doesn't go by its name. very blatant with overall taste except vada pav.
