came to the store last week around 7:40pm. i am having cravings of pork steamed bun and sisg due to my pregnancy so i took my chance to find some in your store. the cashier non-empathetically answered me they could no longer cook sisig which i understand and also told me that if i can't find siopao on your shelves then it's gone. it was my first time visiting your store and this isn't a good experience. i checked the shelves, there was this siopao label but that row was filled with buns. i don't want to gobackand tell the cashier because she might give me an attitude again. just ended up buying brazo de mercedes but a bit disappointed that the middle part is dry so we just ate the white part of it. just sad that my expectations were not met.

we had a really good meal here. we had the coconut and mango bubble tea, which were delicious, perhaps the best bubble tea i've ever had. we shared the lampia shanghai, which were tasty. i had the pork adobo combo with fried rice and noodles. really good, but saltier than i expected, which might reflect my tastebuds more than the dish. partner had the fried chicken and rice combo, which i believe he enjoyed. would like to conebackfor some baked goods.

wow......... this place is the best from the garlic rice to the marinated meats cannot get enough only problem is the adobe and tapislog breakfast are so crazy good its hard to try others i've beenbackprobably 3 dozen times since discovered this jem and got through most items all very good. if your so lucky to get a chance to try the breads and buns on the baking rack your not gonna regret it. this place is unique and one of the best to eat in my opinion.

tried caesar's cakesbackin june. the halo halo dessert was very unique and tasty. we also ordered spring rolls and they were delicious, except one was clearly burnt and they refused to give us another one because it was "just the outer wrapper" of the spring roll! what bullshit is that?! they took it off our bill because they didn't want to give us another one, really weird if you ask me! i never would have served such a pathetic looking spring roll, wish i had a picture!

first time and good selections. - courteous staffs, good atmosphere.
- breakfast favorites looks good and popular
- good pinoy selections (tinola, sinigang, adobo etc and some specialties like dinuguan)
- tried the pakbet - not so good, eggplant and squash or kamote texture does not feel good (seem chewwy/magayot), greenbeans is green but magayot rather than crunchy - i dont know why. also, there is meager strips of pork - i know we like it with some taba, just like how we have itbackhome.
- utensils, am not sure if theyre machine washed or manually, some remnants cling to my spoon (didnt use it) and knife (had to scrub it), i dont want to call attention so kept it to myself.
- had fresh lumpia, good taste, i would prefer less garlic thought and more veggies. i just had a concern since this is close to being a salad, careful if you easily get tummy trouble, i dont but i don't feel well during the day after lunch not sure why. its probably just me, but i bought extra to take home/share with my neighbor (i have to check with them tom).
- bought pandesal, good taste - mild sweetness on the bread, not sure when was it baked, can't find the date stamp - the bread texture seem more than a day.
- service could take long particularly during busy time,

overall i would rate 3 out of 5.
i would comebackfor pinoy specials, i provided a balance review for improvements.

one thing, i cook well and have wide spectrum of taste bud (many cultures).

mabuhay!. i've had cesar's on my wishlist for a long time, since it was at its downtown location. finally i was on the west side and had a change to have lunch there. i've never had filipino food except what i've cooked myself. so i ordered the pork adobo combo with pancit and garlic rice. my brother ordered the chicken adobo combo and we exchanged some of the pork and chicken. both were tender and flavourful, and the chicken was falling off the bone. loved the pancit, but the garlic fried rice was a surprise. i have always wondered how it would work, but it does! the portions were large and i couldn't quite finish the plate. so full. so happy. another one of us had the canadian breakfast. breakfast is served all day.

i will bebackto try a few other dishes like caldereta, menudo, and lumpia. and halo halo! i actually wanted one to go, but was way too full. i wouldn't be able to work if i did. would need a nap instead. also, everything from their bakery looks amazingly good. i'll have to try the siopao. have always wanted those. and they have a selection of goodies from the philippines there as well.

i recommend it for anyone that wants to try something different, but they also have burgers, etc, that i hear are very good and with fresh buns from the bakery.
