birthday meal $260.00. my wife and i went to your restaurant last friday for my birthday for a 7:30 pm dinner:
1. i was very disappointed when the girl sitting at the front desk told me "you have to be done by 9:30" as i was being led to my table by the hostess. i have never been told a specific deadline to exit a restaurant in my life, and i feel it cheapens your brand. it also made me feel like i was being told that i looked like some type of freeloader.
2. the waiter offered the filet of dover special and out of deference to my wife i made the mistake of not asking the waiter the price. he prepared a very nice and very small filet of dover for me. i was shocked to see the $60.00 price on my invoice, when i kindly asked the waiter if it was a mistake, he snapped back at me in a very rude manner that "yes $60.00 is the price"
we are an international medical device and nutrition company located here in miami, and we probably have 4 to 5 different restaurant meals occurring every week in miami/coral gables/coconut grove/& south beach. as a business owner i think you should know that we have a very badexperienceat your restaurant last friday (april 1, 2011 @ 7:30pm). i don't think i can ever recommend your restaurant to anyone and i don't think i would return.
my birthday dinner was ruined by the experience.
