we came in on their busy lunch hour. out waitress, nicole was super adorable and sweet, i don't think any of the waitresses ever stopped moving!! the food was fresh and fast and yummy. i had the cast iron burger and fries. i love dipping my fries in ranch and their ranch dressing is amazing (sign of an awesome restaurant in my optionion). they definitely are very close with some of their customers , i'm guessing those are the regulars. that's another sign of a good place to eat is the way they treat their regulars. we hope to become regulars too!

a friend took me there for the first time early one morning a few days ago...and i must say that my breakfast life hasn't been the same since. it was simply incredible! willie, the cook, is like the lebron james of the kitchen...it was the best breakfast i've ever had and the rest of the staff were great and friendly as well. it was a great experience and i highly recommend it!

good home cooked breakfast. had the big hearty breakfast. very enjoyable home cooked meal. better than pancake house. excellent service. will definitely be back to try lunch & pie!

the service was awesome. the food was sub-par. i ordered the chicken fried steak. the texture was perfect. other than that, i was largly unimpressed. the steak itself was unseasoned. the breading had no flavor whatsoever. and to make matters worse, i was served instant mashed potatoes and canned or mix gravy. gross! the fried green beans were good. my friend ordered the special, which was meatloaf with black-eyed peas. she also got the terrible mashed potatoes. why are you serving black-eyed peas from a can? gross! then i made the mistake of ordering the banana pudding. it was dry and gross, abd had had only one slice of banana in the entire serving! i was highly unimpressed with the food and i will not be back.

the best food & sincere customer service in west texas. their food truck should not be able to produce the quality & taste of food, but they do!! great family business.

always nicely busy at lunch; great desserts - arrive early to not miss out if that's your thing.  housemade ranch dressing for salad - nice difference maker touch they do.  cfsteak and grilled chicken sandwich (i use their ranch dressing on it) are my go-to's.   very friendly and personable service.  you feel welcome there.   the building was once a large conoco filling station in the 1960's, just an anecdotal note to add - but the atmosphere does not suffer much for all that.   just a nice, reliable go-to for a good meal and a friendly encounter.

i had been looking forward to trying this place for quite some time and it did not disappoint. great food made up for the uncomfortable dining setting. it was in july so i chalked it up to the heat outside making it uncomfortable warm inside. will try again soon now that it's not the middle of summer to see how the temperature is inside.

it was good , we will go back when we're in lubbock next time! special was catfish the waitress said my wife got the last plate , i wanted ribeye sandwich they were already sold out , chicken fry was good !

lunch!!!! meatloaf!!!! field peas, mash potatoes. a very nice place a very good place to eat and a very social place.

excellent catfish special today. fresh rolls can't be beat. i never have seen so many waitresses in one restaurant. and, every one of them hustling. wish we had room for the pie. friendly staff. service was fast. food served promptly even eith the large crowd. great place to stop on road trip

beef stew was good but the highlight was the chocolate cream pie was to die for!! service was over the top as well. guy i was with had banana split pie. he said it "was just ok." (looked good, that's for sure.)

ok so l noticed i always rate places high but realized its because i take the time to find the best spots and we did it again... so glad to be home in texas and stopped at a real slice of texacana here, cfs is right on and the desserts are the best and its right off 27. service was excellent and some real fine examples of our beautiful texas women.

oh wow!  come for the lunch, stay for the dessert.  seriously, the mac'n'cheese, chicken fried steak and fixin's were delicious.  but nothing was better than the desserts.  texas delight, strawberry fudge cheesecake, and mississippi mud brownie were devoured at our table.  so good!  and our waitress was so sweet.  will definitely go back!
