entire experience was ruined when we went to pay.
we received a papergiftcertificate years ago from our old neighbors. it clearly had a number on it, was signed by a person named jill, had no expiration and had a business card stapled to it.
they refused to honor thegiftcertificate despite stating that they did issue the same paper certificate years ago. they refused to look up the number of thegiftcertificate because it had been too long. they stated that they received a number of fake certificates and switched to plastic. we gave them the name of the person who gave us thegiftcertificate and they simply did not care. this restaurant came highly recommended over the years. i have never left a restaurant feeling so unappreciated as a customer. we will be filing a complaint with the police since they believe it was not authentic. needless to say we will not be returning nor will be be recommending this business. very unprofessional. highly disappointed.
