our stomachs pleaded for no more food, but the sensation in our taste buds encouraged us to move forward.goodthing this dish is made for sharing and comes with a couple of spoons, because neither of us could have solely devoured it. a perfect way to conclude our run at caribbean jack’s.

reallygooddrinks! their strawberry daiquri and bloody mary are the best i have had in florida! food is usually pretty good, jacks burger is always a winner. staff is nice. a few times when i've been there, they've been missing a few food items.

always have enjoyed myself here..food is alwaysgoodand the atmosphere is a plus. lately it seems like its even better.. which is rare!

clonk chowder (1/2 new england 1/2 conk chowder ) - worth a try andgood
some of the local florida micro brews suck (avoid a blonde ale - hello coconut ... wow !)
reasonable service for a heavy tourist place - don't expect to much eye contact.

staff was friendly, drinks weregoodand the food was great. especially the seafood bowl. the pastry that the seafood was served in was amazingly light and flaky. the sauce reminded me of lobster bisque.

1st visit to caribbean jacks as a midday mid boat trip stop. we ordered the caribbean jack nachos which were a nice flavorful surprise. i think we all would have been happy if we stopped at the appetizer.
for lunch we ordered caribbean jack grilled shrimp tacos which comes with a fruit salsa, coke slaw and black beans and rice. i mixed the fruit salsa with the beans and rice for a nice full flavor taste.
we also ordered the coconut shrimp salad with coconut shrimp dipping sauce rather than the dressing that comes with it. the shrimp were agoodsize and the greens were fresh. we also ordered the bangin blue salad with grilled shrimp which wasgoodbut they forgot to add the blue cheese which we had to ask for.
service was ok but not as attentive as it should have been. we had to flag down agoodrunner to ask for blue cheese and our drinks could have used much quicker refills. not sure if our server had some other concerns but the inside dining room was pretty empty.

it took over an hour to receive our food. two tables sat down, ate, and left before we received ours. the steak was ordered medium but came out medium rare. we ordered two shrimp stir fry.goodflavor but one had no sauce and the other was swimming in sauce. the waitress did not apologize for our long wait time and was mia for 30+ minutes. very disappointed.

no comment on this one . seafood is frozen. bad location . bad location. tables sticky. smells like a boys gym locker . they try to get you drinked up. so youll have agoodtime .dont worry. everything is better when you have a goodbuzz. bring 100.00. ok

overall a great and fun experience.

we enjoyed everything from the moment we were sat at the unique "rocking-swing" booth outdoors, overlooking the bay.

service wasgoodand friendly. we we sat and served in a timely manner. we started with the mussels...and was surprised for them to be the best i ever had. my wife (not usually the sea-food type) had the shrimp basket and liked it so much she didn't need my help to finish it. i had the weekend special the boil, shrimp, sausage, crawfish, corn, and crab. it was all great messy goodness.

highly recommend.

there are many reasons to come to caribean jacks in daytona beach. would you like to know my favorite ? its the bananas foster…. daytona beach caribbean jacks – bananas foster yes, this desert is worth the stop – worth the drive – worth the wait… this is the best recipe for bananas foster i have ever had….. daytona beach – corona at caribean jacks although, i love the coronas…. sitting there having a nice cold beer on a warm and sunny day – watching the boats heading up and down the river… daytona beach – crab cakes at caribean jacks i love the crab cakes – excellent choice for appetizer or dinner…. if i had to pick a favorite appetizer – this would be close – the buffalo shrimp are reallygoodtoo….. daytona beach – shrimp poor boy i love the shrimp po’ boy… if i had to pick a sandwich this would be really close to my favorite – the burger isgoodtoo…. so is the french dip… caribean jacks po’ boy yes, the po’ boys are excellent – hard choice for me to pick a favorite…… daytona beach

carribean jacks. great location - can be tricky to get to - great place to sit and relax and enjoy. waterside bar - restaurant. food isgood- we have been here for lunch and dinner and this place is perfect for beer and a sandwich or a dinner with friends. a few things stand out here that you should know about.
1,) sunday morning bloody marys are about the best you will find in daytona
2.) the bananas foster is to die for....

if you come here and do not start with desert you are missing the best desert in daytona beach...
take the dinner home - it will be a great snack tomorrow have the bananas foster tonight - pinkie swear - its that flippin good...

great atmosphere, great location! outdoor seating with swinging booth and fire pit with music was very nice. food was also verygoodand came in a timely manner. all over great experience. our family will definitely be back.

my parents ate here a couple of years ago and raved about howgoodthe food was. we went at a family and all the food was overcooked. needless to say we were not impressed and will not be back.

unmatched outside atmosphere. i usually just go here for drinks but when i've eaten here it is very good. what is unmatched is the location and atmosphere. the inside is nice enough but i've never taken advantage of that, the allure of the place is the enormous outside deck right on the halifax river. the deck is on the complete east side of the building and on most of the south side as well, wrapping around the building and overlooking the river. there is a full servicegoodsized bar outside.. full picnic size tables, covered and swinging! along side regular tables and hi top tables near the bar. there is a large pavillionish area on the se corner where bands play. one reason i love daytona beach is the weather and the water and this is one of the few places, and the nicest in my opinion, that allows you to enjoy that while having a drink or some food. i've mainly had the french dip and chicken wings, both of which are excellent. my friends and girlfriends have tried many more menu items and they've always been happy but i can't speak personally for much of the menu. the service is usually real good. this is my absolute favorite outside place (they do have a large indoor restaraunt which is nice as well).

bottom line here is that caribbean jacks hasgoodfood. it's not gourmet, by any means, but it'sgoodand its worth going there.
