the service was amazing. we were served by one of their most thougthful and attentive waiter. the servings are big except for the calamari that i think was just few bites. the calamari was cooked and seasoned perfectly. the dipping is fantastic but cost a lot if you asked for another serving of dipping. thepastawas too oily for my liking and is kinda bland, but the shrimp on it was so fresh. the eggs benedict is perfectly cooked but the hollandaise sauce for me was a failure. over all the experience was good but could be better.

definitely on the pricier side, but the food is quite good. gluten free friendly and vegetarian friendly as well. i think it's a typical high end restaurant that servespastaand pizza.

we came with a group of four adults and four kids.  they have a kids menu, but we chose to share dishes.   we had a number of things to try including salmon fettucine (very tasty), duck confit salad (average - duck wasn't crispy as it should be), short ribs (good - though very small portion), spaghetti and meatballs (enjoy thepastaatpastalupino much more and the meatballs which they seem to play up were just ok), grilled salmon entree (also good) and a caesar salad (not much to say about this salad).  the food ranged from slightly below average to very good.

service was even and prompt.  our reservation on a busy saturday night (july 4) was honored right on time.  drink orders were taken immediately, kids' orders came early as we requested and the rest of the food came reasonably quickly.

to be fair, we didn't try the pizza which others have reviewed well.  not sure if we'll be back, but if so, we will try the pizza.

overall, caramba was good and they do have a lot of choices on the menu for larger groups.  however, for the money (or even slightly more), i'd go to many other places first as they do a better job with the food.  nothing against caramba -- for dinner with our kids, we just prefer some other mid-range places in the area more (like wild wood bistro, stonesedge kitchen, pastalupino, and elements).

caramba! is a restaurant located right in the heart of whistler village. it doesn't look incredibly pleasing from the outside and unless you've heard of it or read about it before, you probably might not give it a second glance. they mainly serve pizza, pasta, and meat entrees. i liked how their prices are reasonable, ranging from $10-$17. i can't remember the name of this dish because it was the special that day, but essentially it was a tomato sauce penne topped with copious amounts of melted cheese. meta knight loved this dish so much because it was rich and filling for the belly. fettuccine with mussels ($16.95) was made with white wine and tomato sauce. thepastawas cooked perfectly al dente and it was tossed in just the right amount of sauce. simple, light, and delicious. all in all, caramba! is a great choice for italianpastaand it also has a nice patio to boot. service rating: 2.5/5 food rating: 3.5/5 price: $$-$$$ overall rating: 3.5/5 happy eating!

absolute crap! the pizza crust was extremely dry, and the pizza lacked enough sauce.pastawas nothing special. the service was great, wish i could say the same for the food.

i don't quite understand how restaurants can serve such mediocre (at best) food.
