we ate here on a wednesday spring special which was $22 for two courses and $20 bottle of wine. food was delicious. i had a pork belly appetiser (sorry no pic cos i just ate it too quickly...yum) possibly one of the best i've had- and then had the grilled "char" which was salmon or trout (?) but was also delicious with excellent accompanying charred asparagus and herby mash spud. husband had soup of the day which was cauliflower and gruyere then spaghetti and meatballs - thoroughly enjoyed both. service was fast and friendly as well as helpful in menu selection. husband has a hearing problem and they kindly sat us in a quieter area as well as turning the music down. i recommend this as an unpretentious restaurant serving above average meals.

the service was amazing. we were served by one of their most thougthful and attentive waiter. the servings are big except for the calamari that i think was just few bites. the calamari was cooked and seasoned perfectly. the dipping is fantastic but cost a lot if you asked for another serving of dipping. the pasta was too oily for my liking and is kinda bland, but the shrimp on it was so fresh. the eggs benedict is perfectly cooked but the hollandaise sauce for me was a failure. over all the experience was good but could be better.

this was a restaurant that wasnt on our list of tries except we couldnt find the one we wanted. after perusing the menu we decided to stay because the lunch special was caramba burger and draft beer for $19. we had the soup du jour... light slightly creamy seafood chower. after having tasters we ordered 2. we had the lamb wrap. it was really good. also the caramba burger with 2 patties and bacon and lastly the linguine frutti di mare. $25. everything came out fast and service was attentive without being intrusive. it was a great dining experience. ai camramba! wow!

nice atmosphere, decent price range, tasty pizza. they were extremely accommodating to one of our group who’s gluten and dairy free and the server was able to come up with good options for her.

the calamari was the best i've ever had and the pizza was phenomenal. our waiter was equally as awesome, honestly just do yourself a favour and eat here.

definitely on the pricier side, but the food is quite good. gluten free friendly and vegetarian friendly as well. i think it's a typical high end restaurant that serves pasta and pizza.

we came with a group of four adults and four kids.  they have a kids menu, but we chose to share dishes.   we had a number of things to try including salmon fettucine (very tasty), duck confit salad (average - duck wasn't crispy as it should be), short ribs (good - though very small portion), spaghetti and meatballs (enjoy the pasta at pasta lupino much more and the meatballs which they seem to play up were just ok), grilled salmon entree (also good) and a caesar salad (not much to say about this salad).  the food ranged from slightly below average to very good.

service was even and prompt.  our reservation on a busy saturday night (july 4) was honored right on time.  drink orders were taken immediately, kids' orders came early as we requested and the rest of the food came reasonably quickly.

to be fair, we didn't try the pizza which others have reviewed well.  not sure if we'll be back, but if so, we will try the pizza.

overall, caramba was good and they do have a lot of choices on the menu for larger groups.  however, for the money (or even slightly more), i'd go to many other places first as they do a better job with the food.  nothing against caramba -- for dinner with our kids, we just prefer some other mid-range places in the area more (like wild wood bistro, stonesedge kitchen, pasta lupino, and elements).

avoid at any cost!. horrible service, disgusting food. rotisserie chicken was rotten, macaroni and cheese moldy. our server were stoned. we brought our complaint to the owner's attention, but he doesn't care at all, he told us that if we don't like his food then we should go to the macdonald's.

good food but horrible service. visited caramba for my friends birthday and the food was great, especially the caramba pizza but it was a bit too salty for my likings. however, our server, a brunette with pigtails on the side showed absolutely no interest in our group. it took her a really long time to come back to us to order our food (we were 3/4 done with our drinks). there were a few occasions i requested her to provide us with more water and it slips her mind completely. waiting for our bill was such a waste of time. she put all our bills together and we asked for it to be separate and her attitude was nothing i have seen before. it was not even a busy evening and she only had 3 tables to serve at the moment. i definitely liked the food but our server really ruined my experience here. very unlikely that i will come back.

caramba! is a restaurant located right in the heart of whistler village. it doesn't look incredibly pleasing from the outside and unless you've heard of it or read about it before, you probably might not give it a second glance. they mainly serve pizza, pasta, and meat entrees. i liked how their prices are reasonable, ranging from $10-$17. i can't remember the name of this dish because it was the special that day, but essentially it was a tomato sauce penne topped with copious amounts of melted cheese. meta knight loved this dish so much because it was rich and filling for the belly. fettuccine with mussels ($16.95) was made with white wine and tomato sauce. the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and it was tossed in just the right amount of sauce. simple, light, and delicious. all in all, caramba! is a great choice for italian pasta and it also has a nice patio to boot. service rating: 2.5/5 food rating: 3.5/5 price: $$-$$$ overall rating: 3.5/5 happy eating!
