someone in the back gets it!. went to cap's friday night with my dad. the weather was beautiful, so we ate outside. service was attentive, but not overbearing (although i did need somewaternear the end of the meal, and did not receive any.)
we got a couple of draughts (he a blue moon, and i a stella) and split the calamari (sweet and spicy, the spinach leaves were perfect.)
dad had the scored whole flounder, which is the whole fish, scored, lightly breaded, then flash fried. it was superb. perhaps the largest whole flounder ive seen at a restaurant. the meat was flaky & sweet.
i opted for the beeline snapper (one of the day's catches), and asked that it be blackened (could have had it grilled or fried). the blacken seasoning was not overly spicy, and had depth. the sides were automatic: fried plantains and rice with beans, bacon, and onion. perfect pairings.
