recently visited canto cafe & bar which is located in one of the hep areas of south mumbai, near gurgaon chawpatty.
its interiors, lighting and vibe are all on point and very tastefully done.

the service was quick too.

what we ate :
veg delightpizza( 5/5 )
quinoa orange zest salad ( 5/5 )
grilled chicken big plate ( 3.5/5 )

thepizzaand salad were amazing and there are no complaints at all from our end.

pizza : it thin, tasty, moist and still remained crispy till the very end.

salad : it was refreshing, yum and different and we had to order another round of it.

grilled chicken : it lacked taste and could have been better. the mash that came with it though was yummmm...

all in all we love the place and think you should definitely try it out. we will go back for another meal for sure....

thepizzawas gooooddd but the dessert was so not. molten chocolate needs to be a little less sweet man i feel like there’s chocolate stuck in my throat still.

amazing food, espcly if you love cheese... we had been to chowpatty and were looking for good ambience and some music to cleebrate our anniversary... having 5 yr old kid with us and it being a weekend, we could not go to loud place, so shortlisted this place. the food taste was yummy- we had ordered bbqpizza& smoked chicken risotto. even mocktail red rage had good taste.. mr. vijay guided us really well on ordering the food.

only disappointment was we did not get table upstairs even when it was empty when we entered.

but overall nice experience.

1. original chef is back!
chickenpizzahere is just mouth watering. 2. ketan is polite as always 3. prawn risotto excellent and authentic with lots of prawns and saffron. 4. green tomato in burger was unique. 5. two fried eggs @ inr 200/- (i think they serve special golden goose eggs) 6. happy end here and good ambience by the window.

it was my mom's birthday and we chose to celebrate it at canto's!
i have loved the food at canto. we ordered their stuffed cigar which was droolworthy. next we order theirpizzaveg. delight which was satiating. after which we ordered for pesto pasta which was great with delicate flavors! loved it all!

for the dessert we ordered a blueberry cheesecake - overall it was delicious but the blueberry syrup was what disappointed me because that synthetic flavor and coloring made me and my mom feel very uncomfortable as our throats got caught up in that and felt weird and itchy...

we wanted to try new stuff and asked ketan, our server for recommendations. not only was his recommendation on point, but he made sure he accomodated our requests and enquired about our preferences before suggesting dishes. we decided to completely go by his suggestions and we were definitely not disappointed. the tortilla paneer and cigar rolls left us wanting for more whereas the debate between us over mushroom overpizzawas efficiently resolved with a half & half. the quesadillas and paneer steak were the perfect end of the meal, leaving us full but not stuffed. ketan was extremely warm, polite and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

superb ambience with great music. staff is helpfull. being sunday service was quick. mazee platter was super yummy..pizzawas also good... didn't like pesto pasta.. cheese garlic bread was not that good... virjin mojito was watery... blue berry cheese cake was too yummy... must visit place in south mumbai for classy ambience.

canto has two outlets one in lower parel and one in charni road, we loved the charni road outlet its humongous and very well structured. the best part is the service and the ambience which will not let you leave the place early. it has very beautiful ambience with a very spacious seating arrangements and elements which enhance the beauty. there’s a huge bar out there and a very vast menu with multiple options to choose from,
we tried the margheritapizzaand the bruschetta.
pizza was excellent with a very good portion size but bruschetta was not very good in taste a certain ingredient was ruining the taste,
anyways it’s a great experience if you order the right things but can be a little heavy on your pocket in some cases. we recommend you to have your next date or a reunion with your friend or for having a fancy family dinner here.

good food. good ambience. quick serving.

khowsey was amazing… 4 cheese pasta and greekpizzawere very delicious. all is good as far as you come by 8-8:30 in evening or else the staff will remind you about the hard stop of ten while entering, while placing order and while you are mid way in your meal. so… time pe aana…

i still would recommend the place for the quality and reasonable cost of food.

paneer tikkapizza(5/5) - thepizzawas very filling. the taste was first of all awesome and the quantity as well was pretty good. should definitely go for it if you prefer veg options


potato wedges (garlic herbs) (3/5) - i’m not a very big fan of potato wedges in general. they were kinda good, little tasteless but okay.

ambience is just good, specially at nights.

food wise very very average. you easily get bookings on a sunday as well. quality of food is highly ok. ambience is very good. valet service is good. right from nachos to quesadilla to pasta andpizza, the food seemed dry, lacked taste and needs reinventing. service was slow but the waiters were helpful. zomato pro discount is only available if you pay online on zomato app, not on cash payments.
