campiello is tucked away attached to a strip mall in eden prairie. for all the corporate people in eden prairie this is one of the “go to” spots for lunch and drinks. many people have shied away fromcampielloassuming that it would be too fussy and expensive for a quick lunch. well i found out that the complete opposite is true. sure, they have expensive things on the menu but their lunch menu is knockout, fast and affordable.the lunch menu seems to change periodically but generally you can get half of a big sandwich/pasta and half of a soup or salad. my personal favorites are the caesar salad and any of the three sandwiches including:

best meal from start to finish. we had a gift card for the d' amico partners and decided to try outcampiellofor our anniversary. what a great choice. our meal started with a great wine and a roasted pear salad that was awesome. our entrees were the short ribs and a pasta dish. both were very good, but the short ribs were off the chart good. we ended with a fabulous dessert. my husband and i both feel it was one of the best meals we've had out in a very long time. it is a little expensive, but well worth it for a special night out.

really miss the one in.... really miss thecampielloin uptown,& i also enjoy the one in naples,fla. where the food & ambiance is only rivaled by the minnesota teams playing on their screens, thanks to the d'amico family loyalty to their home town.
this location always excellent too,upscale yet unpretentious menu,great decor,& attractive people watching.
