changed review from positive - second visit. second time they got our order wrong. plant based for health, going on 8 years. hereditary atherosclerosis. ordered avo on toast, mushrooms and spicy beans. a simple plant based breakfast impossible to get wrong
guess again. came topped with cream cheese and sneaked in cooked pig sausages with the beans. why a restaurant would do things like this is completely beyond understanding. waiter was informed vegan. first visit a vegan salad came smothered in feta. not the waiters/kitchen staffs fault. cannot trust thestaffto serve what is ordered because there is unnecessary additional items added in everything. 2 years and still doing the same stupid things. unfortunately these are managerial failures (which points to bigger issues) and unfortunate having to leave a negative rating.

fantastic little cafe that lives up to its name. was helped as soon as we entered the door, and service fromstaffthroughout was impeccable. food was great and cooked to perfection. would recommend this little cafe to anyone i come across. thanks for the good meal and environment.

from the extensive menu to the candy bar i have not been disappointed here! excellent service, friendly attentive and knowledgeablestaffplus a great vibe.

well then get to mayfair. anytime of the day this little durban north gem makes you feel
like you on holiday.

highly recommend the mayfair benedict, so rare to find good hollandaise these days it's a definite winner.
i can't help indulging in at least two choccocinos per visit they that good.
thestaffare always friendly attentive and helpful.

boring outdated menu that looks like it came from the 90s or early 2000s. there are not enough options that cater for people's needs such as banting,vegetarian and gluten free. a pleasant interior and friendlystaffthough.

not a bad place. goodstaffand service and well priced coffee. not enough light snack selection that is low carb. banting specials are limited to one which stays for a few months and is always quite pricy. a banting breakfast has been introduced that is full of all sorts of fruit - so clearly the chef is not aware of the banting rules ;) their early closing is also annoying

amazing little cafe with a wonderful menu. great service and good quality food. we were very pleased when visiting for ourstafflunch. prices are very reasonable. no disappointment.
