the cafe has a cosy atmosphere, thefoodwas very good and the service was fast and friendly too. we’ll be returning there again.

great coffee andfoodfor brunch stop on a family road trip. no kids menu but the chef and wait staff can accommodate smaller portions etc

have been here several times for breakfast and thefoodand service are great. great coffee and great food. i always go the scrambled eggs and my only complaint is i am left with toast. maybe i should order a 3rd egg!!foodand service can not be complained about - even when they are extremely busy, which is often

this cafe, is really greatfoodthe service is amazing ,
it’s very busy located in ballarat

i had a soy latte the coffee was strong but made to perfection,
i had a spenish omelet. i highly recommend the spanish omelette.

i have been here the last 5 days in a row! for breakfast i have tried so many different things and there all amazing!

it’s so busy however the service is so speedy! come and support this local cafe!

some really nice breakfast options which are different from the usual dishes on offer in most cafes, but i find the portions are a little small for the price.  thefoodis delicious though.  staff are mostly very friendly and although it's usually pretty busy, they don't rush you.

cafe lekker is a great place for breakfast or lunch. thefoodis consistently good and the staff are usually nice to deal with. prices are reasonable,foodenjoyable. it's a busy venue though, so if after a private or intimate environment, it's not the place. it's very popular, so it can be hard to get tables or a park. it's good that it's popular though and the food, drink and service are the reason for this.

nice little cafe. always served good and tastyfoodbut average coffee. nice and cozy atmosphere. decent prices. the service was ok but staff could be more friendlier.

for a small café located away from the dining strip of sturt street, café lekker is one busy establishment. thefoodhere is well done - the breakfast of poached eggs, salmon and avocado is plentiful and tasty. special mention must go to the hollandaise, which managed to convert a staunch non-hollandaise-ee. iced chocolate was a terrible chocolate syrup concoction; admittedly ordering an iced chocolate as an adult was cause enough to send out such a dreadful drink.
service is friendly (if a little chaotic, with our table receiving four different wait staff), and coped on a very busy, hot and noisy morning. the café is kitted out in a strange mix of kitsch and cool, and whilst i'm not sure if they pull it off, there would be hoards of regulars ready to disagree with me.
overall a recommended eatery for regular meals that are cooked well. avoid if you're dining with someone hard of hearing.

very large breakfast menu, meals were served very quickly and service was prompt and attentive. i do feel that the lady with the orange shaded glasses needs a serious lesson in how to smile, all our interactions with her were cold and uninviting and i'd probably have scored higher if she actually showed some genuine interest in her customers.

overall a very good cafe with some great tastingfoodand reasonable pricing, would absolutely be back again!

amazing coffee,foodand service with a smile!. as a regular customer of cafe lekker i have to say i absoulutely love it. thefoodis always delicious, the coffee is always amazing (especially when james and bri make it :p) and the service is always friendly- even when it is busy. it's easy to see why this place is always so busy.

went in on the weekend and some new girl made my coffee.. possibly the best i have ever had. made my day :d wish i knew her name..

i love this cafe. thefoodis delicious the staff are always friendly and everything comes out so quick!! it's the busiest place on the weekends but they still manage to send everything out super quick. absolutely my favourite place.

could possibly the rudest service ever experienced. young waiter with tattoos up his arm, couldn't be less interested. he didn't say one word to me, just stood next to me which i was to assume was to take my order. even when paying, nothinng. perhaps time for a new job?foodhowever was quite good, great poached eggs.

in our experience, both at lunch and dinner, has been fantastic. the service is great, thefoodfantastic and it is always quick to arrive. am very happy to call myself a regular customer for cafe lekker!

greatfoodand great service. i went for the sausage breakfast which was tasty but could have done with some toast. my wife had the cafe lekker breakfast which was perfect. well done and keep it up.
