we stayed at thehoteland the room came with a complimentary breakfast buffet. i loved how the choices weren't overwhelming and that they had really tasty garlic rice (yes kanin is life hahaha). there were only two things that i didn't like: the pancakes (quite bland) and the waffles (dense and not buttery), but overall i had quite an enjoyable experience. also kudos to the staff / waiters who were very attentive and accommodating. would definitely come back and try their lunch and dinner buffet!

one of the things i look forward to when staying at ahotelis the breakfast the following morning. cafe ilang-ilang had a huge spread for us when we woke up. they had everything from breads, cereals, different kinds of milk, pancit, arroz caldo, sausages, bacon, pasta.. they even had siomai! i honestly loved the food there! for p1450 per head, i thought it was sulit. i even took advantage of the different juices and unlimited coffee. service was superb too.

can i rate this a hundred? i love this place. my favorite buffet place . went here yesterday for my graduation dinner celebration and wow. it just never changed. the food is delicious. a lot of choices and the flavors of the food is there even if it was a buffet type. the best among thehotelrestaurants in the philippines. i can't get enough of it that i crave to eat here once a month. love the ambiance and the servers are nice and accommodating. 👏👏👏

i ate here for breakfast once. i loved it!! the best experience eating inhotelbuffets! ❤ there were yohgurts and all those yummy food for breakfast. i think they also have yummy drinks. the ambiance was also good! recommended! :)

i have given an odd and personal gauge for my ratings ofhotelbuffet before, and that is their attention to making their finisher dishes good (because i bake and am very hard to please with sweets). i had curated a dessert plate and all of the pieces in it were left half-eaten except the fruit tart. my reassurance that i am not being picky is that my coworker noted immediately that i won't like the desserts. she noted that it was too saccharine and most chocolate-based desserts are lacking in that rich chocolate flavor.

that small caveat on the desserts aside, there are no qualms about everything else; you gotta give it all the credit. hands-down, they have the best appetizers and entrees i've had in a buffet restaurant. the grilled tanigue and their laksa (with big scallop meat!) take the cake. for those with sharper eyes, they can spot and have candied walnuts, apricots and pine nuts in some obscure areas of the buffet. i munched them with cheese. what surprised me is their persian and thai food. delicious.

asian night is underrated because everyone else raves about the seafood-themed night. they are actually missing on the diversity of the food choices.

we went here to have a sunday lunch buffet. the food was delicious and so many food to choose from. this is one of the best buffethotelrestaurant that i have gone to. i pretty liked their lobster and roast beef, it was delicous.

i also liked their dessert section, so many desserts to choose from, they have cakes, pastries, crepes, ice cream and many more.

this buffet restaurant inside manilahotelis a good start to define your cravings. know why? simply because this foods are definitely satisfy all your cravings. thanks to bdo mastercard for the 40% discount and i experienced this opportunity to satisfy my cravings.

stayed at thehotelfor an event and we availed of their lunch buffet. was really looking forward to trying their roast beef but it wasnt available. maybe because it was friday-fish day? lol. not sure- salmon was served. we got a little bit of every cuisine and loved everything!

appreciative of the range of different cuisines ( especially indian) which was really good.
everything was soooo good except a few dishes ( why i gave it a 4) that i really shouldnt have bothered with. like everythinf in the dessert section except the ice cream, the rolls in the japanese section were just okay, one steak section was serving dry steak. nonetheless, one of the best.

i had a stay @ the manilahotel& i had my breakfast at the cafe ilang ilang throughout the stay. loved their food & the service., even their dinner was good.

we went here like 3 times already and it is still a pleasant surprise which makes me want to go back again! for me cafe ilang-ilang have the best variety of food amongst the buffets that i’ve been to (and we’ve been to the popularhotelbuffets too). it has lesser choices compared to vikings but the quality is definitely on a different level! posting photos will not equate to how good the food is and you’ll have to see and taste them yourself to understand what i’m saying!

been to manilahotelseveral times but wasn’t able to dine there but this time i celebrated my 27th birthday and our 2nd anniversary at the cafe ilang ilang, the manila hotel. it was also a pleasure to meet my boyfriend’s co workers there (this is where he 1st worked btw) giving us a full 50% discount 😄❤️ big thanks to all the staff’s for accommodating us and his previous manager. food was authentic, though i wasn’t able to try it all. the place was beautiful of course. try their sea foods btw, the marinated shrimp was my favorite and will always be 😊 they also have puto bungbong in the dessert section. hopefully next time matry ko naman sa champagne room haha.

no need a long review for thishotelbuffet, simply wonderful. for me, it's the best among thehotelbuffets in manila, better than spiral which has deteriorated a lot lately. we dined in ilang ilang on their seafood night, scallops, prawns, lobsters, sea bass etc, everything's big and fresh. and servers are all courteous and accommodating. the best part, 40% off for bdo platinum card.

our family's go to buffet. i always love this buffet compared to otherhotelbuffets. the sections are organized. the staff are really accomodating, attentive and nice. as to the dishes, i really love them all especially the japanese area, grill station and the dessert.

i celebrated my birthday in manilahoteland had a chance to try their buffet breakfast during our stay. they serve delicious food and i love that there's a huge array of dishes to choose from. although quite expensive, i can say that it's worth every penny.
