we were passing throughgeelongand after a quick research we came here for lunch today. it looks small from looking in from the outside but they have a nice courtyard filled with tables and heaters.

it was busy but we got a table and ordered our food at the counter. there is a nice fireplace inside the cafe and it has a warm/inviting feeling.

i ordered the chicken salad which i enjoyed and my family had the veggie breakfast, baked beans and fetta and dill fritters which were good and well priced. we also shared a veggie soup on their specials board to warm ourselves from the cold.

smiles all round from staff and all friendly.

been here twice, due to work taking me togeelongon those occasions. had the pulled lamb panini both times. great flavour and the sandwich. love the chimichurri and  lamb combo.

delicious! everything we had was really great. the corn and zucchini fritters with the poached eggs and that amazing sauce was my fave! coffee great and service excellent. love the courtyard. if i was ageelonglocal, i’d be here all the time!

a quaint looking cottage cafe situated just off the side ofgeelongcbd.
happy lively atmosphere with magnificent coffee and fast service.
thoroughly enjoyed an egg and bacon breakfast sandwhich. simple but delicious.

have been attending thisgeelongestablishment since i was a baby medical student! it’s always such a busy spot, and for good reason!
i love their hot chocolates, that come in massive enamel cups and platters, and delicious eggs and fritters, displayed pastries.

vibes are fabulous, staff friendly, and the backyard seating is on the proverbial fleek. and the best part? instead of order numbers, you get a stuffed toy of your choice ✌️. my fave is the hand puppet crocodile.

ok so went to cafe go for the first time but have heard great things! we went for breaky and sat out the back! heaters were on and it was a really good funky atmosphere! food was fantastic, i had the rhubarb waffles and they were really good! staff were friendly and helpful! if you are ingeelonggo check it out! healthy menu as well with all your superfoods on there, just so you don't feel guilty when you leave! 😜

melbourne charm ingeelongcity. one of geelong's must do cafe spots! greta coffee, fabulous food and friendly service. i have taken locals and out of towners here and all are impressed! cool little retreat, funky decor and interesting ordering methods make for a relaxed and enjoyable experience!

cafe go = cafe slow. we frequent cafe go when passing throughgeelongfrom melbourne on our way to the beach house. the coffee and food is good, however, you would not want to be in a rush. expect to wait some time for a coffee in the morning. they must be picking and roasting the beans specifically for each coffee. this sort of service would be the demise of such a cafe in melbourne.

great value food, fresh ingredients, loved the garden out back. i really loved this place, its really quaint and funky. it's the first breakfast place i have been to ingeelongthat i would go back to. great place to come for breakfast or lunch. they have a great variety of food options and something a little more unique than your standard fare. i had the bruschetta because i wanted something light and it was very tasty. everything else looked great too. however, i was not a fan of the coffee. i had a cappuccino and there was way too much milk despite it being in a tiny cup. so not the best coffee. i would definitely go back for the food and would take friends there when they are down from melbourne.

good coffee, great service, super cramped. people ofgeelongcaught on to how good the coffee and food in this place is and decided to jump in. all at the same time. every morning.

it's a small cafe and has a very nice / ferny little backyard. the staff is amazingly friendly, and the coffee is great. the food is delicious, though the quantities may be small, the delicious taste makes the price seem fair.

i would suggest trying the brekky roll with egg, bacon, aioli & relish or the chocolate french toast sandwich with salted caramel & grilled banana for the sweeter tooth.

yummy. walked up here from our hotel when we stayed ingeelongfor week. what a gem of a place. coffe was extremely good compared to the crap on thegeelongforeshore. service was fast and friendly- how it should be.geelongreally is a hit and miss with eateries- be careful where you go. definately ask locals. we found out the hard way.

a secret garden retreat ingeelongfilled with eclectic riches and scrumptious delights to temp you soul and your taste buds! the menu is a good mix of traditional and different. and the display cabinet is filled with homemade tartlets and other baked goods. the food is to die for! the freshness and flavours are amazing. portion sizes are generous and beverages are homely and delicious too. i had the smoked kippers, i was nervous having never had them before but was amazed at how morish they were. flavours were well balance and it left me feeling happy inside. the rest of the family had french toast and the go big breakfast. the fresh toast was a different take with a bread that had the texture of pancakes and toast at the same time, amazing. fresh oj is sweet and pulpy. coffee is smooth with good flavour. all round a must visit if you're in geelong!

best place ingeelong.. so far. i like to think i am something of a cafe connoisseur ... ok, what i mean is ... i like cafes; coffee and cake figure largely in my life, and a good cafe can easily become a second home for me to write in ... so when i stumbled across cafe go in the desert that isgeelongi uttered a silent whoop of delight. good coffee, quality breakfast style menu, off-the-wall stuffed toy ordering system (don't ask, you'll understand when you go), good cake (try the woodsman cake thing, yum), funky covered area out back, art on the walls ... what more could you want? umm ... the wifi seems to be a bit dodgy from the garden area... and it shuts at 4pm ... that's about it. highly recommended.
