i had their coffee and their muesli which i found really good. its a quirky little place that i found rather odd at first but it always surprises me.

had the tofu salad, was really disappointing, the tofu was an unsettling texture. needs to work on their vegetarian/vegan options.
service was also not great, not very welcoming or friendly.

friendly service and chilled seating area when the pop spot over the road is bustling. famous for their chicken rotisserie, but there is plenty more healthy dishes on offer! bespoke wine curation. the outside tables need some work

food is amazing, delicious properly cooked scrambled eggs, yummy chicken, fantastic roast veg and great salads. i eat or order from here at least once a week. one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city by far.

nice place for a quick coffee en route to work. sometimes not the friendliest reception. does have a prime location on bree street which is convenient and fun!

great stop for a working break or breakfast. we had the scrambled eggs which we enjoyed and iced coffee which was okay. the set up is confusing- some orders we placed with a waitress, others at the counter.

great service friendly staff. my only concern is that you add more vegan friendly dishes to your menu. very happy to come by again. best organic dark hot chocolate when you are on the go.

breakfast at franks is always lovely, we were first to arrive. immediately ordered before it got busy, our food came quickly and it was great. best breakfast in the cbd. see you soon!!

good wholesome food everyday. my go to office lunch. delivery is a great option. try the chicken and chicken and leek.pie. roast veg is exeptional. everything is fresh everyday.

cute cozy place on upper bree street- really great coffee and wine seller. we grabbed breakfast at this cafe and it was absolutely amazing. fresh granola that you get to choose with some yogurt and then coffee really packs a punch. would definitely go back.

i keep coming back to this amazing cafe over and over . love the wide selection of healthy yet tasty food. you can build your own plate of food, which allows you try different taste experiences . or if you can't make up your mind , order from the pre-selected menu. service is fast and the owner is wonderful to talk to.

no surprise to find a number of negative reviews about this cafe. never one to leave a review but felt it was necessary when it came to one. namely the horrible service, not a once off, but three times in a week. upon ordering the most basic coffee, i waited for up to 20 minutes, watching the people that ordered after me receive theirs before me. the "barista" making it seem like he's actually meant to be doing his job when i asked where my order is. what a huge ask for him. the manager also seemed disinterested in the matter. overall, i will never visit this establishment again and advise others to pick elsewhere for a more pleasing cafe experience.

best for a grab-to-go. the food is basic salad picks. adding extras is overpriced for the portion sizes. but overall the service is friendly. there is a refrigerator to grab prepackaged salads and drinks, and an area at the back dedicated to wine bottles - although i'm not altogether sure why a place like this is big on its wine - that's cape town for you i guess ;)

i will say the coffee is gorgeous!!! mmmm even as an espresso it still resonates a creamy almost smoked chocolate and vanilla, and is a blend from three countries - i think peru, tanzania and cambodia if i'm not mistaken

cafe frank has a quirky little charm about it. there's a counter that you order at then pay and sit, cute and clean interior and an incredible menu. the coffee is delicious and the bircher muesli and yogurt with berry compote is incredible- i always have the same dish!!!
