wow!!orderedegg club sandwich. it was yummy and large. french fries given as an additional thing and was tasty. definitely, worth the money. .

iorderedlasagna, bbq chicken pizza and veg club sandwich..the order was delivered soon as expected..the veg club sandwich was awesome..neatly packed and felt good to eat..pizza was lacking cheese..i could barely taste cheese in it..lasagna on the other hand was a total disaster..felt a little undercooked and lacked cheese..

not a veg friendly place,ordereda paneer (cottage cheese) burger it was like burger with paneer pieces in tomato sauce, veg spring roll was nice but drenched with oil, garlic bread was like home made garlic toast on slice of regular bread.

really happy to review as i can say finally had the best burger in chennai . it was really worth getting one .ordereda grilled chicken burger . the packaging was really good and was delivered hot. this really made my day . thanks cafe arabic for making such good burgers . can admit these are better than mcdonald burgers 😀

how could u sell old stuff ,orderedfood just in seeing the reviews. the steak was old and extremely hard . the gravy was a huge glob of congealed mess. had to eat it just for the abominable rates i had to pay. extremely disappointing. you don't deserve even a single star for the abomination you served. pathetic

this place is just next to sea shells . on sunny day in chennai you can imagine the heat phew! you may or maynot get a parking based on the crowd. for starters iorderedthe veg nuggets and prawn basket . the place where we sat ,we were sweating inspite of air conditioning.the veg nuggets we're good.the prawns tasted more batter than prawns. latte was good.orderedthe ice tea and the waiter gave me lemon juice instead. then he brought the ice tea which was overly sweet and when questioned he says that's how it's supposed to be! finally bill arrives in with my lemon juice and ice tea!😒had to change it again...overall i wasn't happy with the service provided and food was average!

cafe arabica which is part of sea shell is a cafe at 2 locations in chennai and recently i happened to try the anna nagar one...located right next to the sea shell on the 3rd avenue this outlet too shares its parking with the restaurant..cafe arabica is one of those place that i have always wanted to visit since their opening but only now did i get a chance to visit..so was here for a late lunch recently..

the outlet has some classy interiors with the dessert and sweet display racks up front which actually are a pleasing sign as you enter..for the hot climate the a/c was cooled to perfection and the time spent at the cafe dining in was no less than comfortable..the service ppl were attentive and also were kind and polite..the waiting time was however in the high side..it took them 10 mins to plate a pastry and serve...

so i placed the order for a chicken lasagne at 250rs which was served in about 10-12 mins..first look made me think that it was too less for the price paid little did i know i was in for more disappointments...first up the vessel and the way it was presented was not something i expected in a so called premium cafe..as i expected a neatly served lasagne in a plate where each layer is easily visible..but the it was served in a long bowl of sorts..though the filling of minced chicken was good in taste the layers and the making was kind of amateurish and lasagne felt and tasted more like a heated one than a freshly made one...the lowest pasta sheet was completely stuck to the vessel it was served in...

alsoordereda chocofeast pastry at 125rs..this too tasted quite average to say the least as it was quite hard and not that moist...the upper layer which seemed like caramelized sugar was kinda off..the combination did actually work well..

for a person stepping in with a lot of expectations this place was more of a disappointment..claiming themselves as a premium cafe which does echo only in the pricing as the food is a major letdown...the service and ambiance is not something special that i would give a special mention to...to put it again in simple words..disappointed..

great place with good portions of steak, beef and chicken . weorderedthe stuffed chicken steak and the pepper beef steak. totally worth it. ambiance could have been better though.

what : ferrero rocher cake

i usually prefer home bakers to large cafés / bakeries for cakes and this experience has only proved this again. this review is only about the cakes that were already prepared and displayed. having had a good experience with them previously, i decided to look no further when one of my friends needed a cake urgently for an occasion. this place was one of the most reputed café / bakers in the anna nagar east locality. they had a large number of cakes in almost every trademark flavor of theirs on display. after deciding for a while and based on the staff’s suggestion, we finally settled for the #ferrerorocher cake as that was readily available and looked very tempting. but those are the final good things i would be able to say about the cake. never have i been handed a lemon in my life when it came to cakes. if you get what i mean. this cake was such an embarrassment and a total let down in front of the guests. i would still agree that this is not something they must have done deliberately and it could be just a one-off thing. even great companies have failed once or twice down the line. but the only problem is that when you spend so much on a cake, the least you can expect is for it to taste average, if not phenomenal. and the embarrassment will continue till the next occasion. this is only in regards to the cake that was readily available and probably i am sure that it would have tasted better had it been freshlyorderedone. however, it would take a while for me to give them another chance. the same goes for the belgium truffle mousse which i had got for having on the go. it didn’t taste any better than those available at those roadside small bakery shops. the only saving grace were the arabian sweets that i had got as a backup. this place is definitely the best when it comes to arabian sweets. but not cakes.
note* - the same has been conveyed to the chef of café arabica (anna nagar east).

the best cake i've had after a very long time !! ofcourse i am happy iorderedfrom you guys on my dad's birthday. it tasted so good !!

for the price the quality and the cake was lit.

cafe arabica: please have some decency and respect for the consumer. we aren't people who have never tasted cakes in our lives and neither do you hold the patent to 'ferrero rocher cakes'. to just throw some ridiculous icing on a cake and claim that ferrero rocher is used as a filling in the cake is absurd and disrespectful.

deeply hurt when i received this cake from their resto, when iordereda ferrero rocher cake. i'd like all the cake bakers in this group to provide your opinions on such dishonesty practised by a fellow baker. there was not a hint of ferrero rocher within or outside the cake.

rating: 1/5 and i would request that you sincerely visit a different places for cakes. damage approx 600 inr!!!!😢😢😢😢
