cafe 7 delicatessen and pastaria

not impressed. our problems started before we even arrived at cafe 7. my family and i wanted to call in a to go order. after calling the restaurant several times over the course of an hour, and either getting a busy signal or constant ringing, we gave up and drove there. and just to throw this in, we started calling at about 1:45 on a monday, not exactly in the middle of a lunch rush. my father and i did place an fairly large to go order, but nothing i would consider complicated. i ordered the rigatoni with no mushrooms, not because i'm picky but because i'm highly allergic. now if the mushrooms were somehow included in the sauce or something, the girl taking our order could have just told me that and i would have picked another dish. and we ordered a side of potato salad, and some chips however we didn't get them. the sandwich my cousin ordered was nothing special and it was way overpriced. we ended up spending about sixty dollars on a meal that wasn't worth it. their pesto cream sauce wasn't bad.

good salad, bad pizza!. went here for lunch with my wife a few days ago and was told the salads were good and the pizza was good size for the money. i would go again for the house salad as it was very good and quite large, but the pizza was really bad. it came really fast which seemed cool, but pizza needs a little tlc to make it good. i would rather eat cici's pizza over the pizza we had. no flavor in the crust and very bland throughout the rest of the pizza even though we had a nice choice of toppings and pesto sauce on it. i will try a sandwich and salad if i go back next time!

sunday afternoon, mr. wonderful was working and it was just me and the kids heading somewhere for lunch. i was looking for somewhere reasonable and we decided to try out cafe 7. the boy was a little skeptical, because he’d been to these “types” of places

i had to try cafe 7 given all the positive reviews. i have to admit it was a little bit of a letdown when i walked in and took a gander at the sparse, rather generic menu. however, i was pleasantly surprised with the first bites of my salad and pasta. unfortunantly, i was given the wrong salad, but it was very good. i really enjoyed the pasta...probably because i made it my own with penne, alfredo, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and sundried tomatos. even though i was initially ignored by the staff at the counter, cafe7 didn't disappoint, overall.

this place is just so-so. its a fairly plain selection, not much to choose from. very basic flavors. not the place to go if you like variety and a unique sandwich. great place to go if you like bland food and/or are in a hurry. i've been here a couple times now and its usually very busy and judging from the approval rating on here, people like it. to me, however, its not really worth visiting. you can get a much better $7 sandwich at panera or saturn grill. just not a big fan of this place.

fantastic!. we made our own pizza and it was so good, and an amazing value for the price. also, their cupcakes are some of the best i've ever had (and that's saying something - i'm a little obsessed). we will definitely return, and i highly recommend it!

my big fat greek pizza is very good. i will eat there again soon.

i really like supporting local restaurants and this place has good food at a reasonable price. the sandwiches remind me of panera except without that shitty chain feel.

delicious!. i love this place. i go there once a week. they have great food and good service. their cupcakes are great too. they had red velvet one time and it was like heaven in a cupcake! best in the city!

affordable and quick. this is a nice place to get a quick bite at an affordable price. the pizzas are tasty and a great value. the chicken caesar salad was underwhelming, but other salads served to our table looked much better. service was okay.

this was pretty good. everything was made fairly fresh and yet didn't cost me a lot of money. the pizza is decent but the pasta dishes are really great. cost wise it's about average but the atmosphere could use a change. it's currently in between luxurious cafe and college dormatory. nonetheless, good food and good price.

loves it!. cafe 7 is an amazing place with great charm! the food is great, i'm never unsatisfied. plus they have really great customer service... refills, more sauce, napkins, even if i need a pen to write with, someone will bring it right out to me!

i'm hoping there will be a second location opening up soon.

nothing special. went here for the first time today. ordered a club sandwich, very underwhelmed. it was very typical of what you would receive at a hotel or a cafeteria. nothing unique or great about the sandwich at all. the most dissapointng thing was the side of chips that came with it. if you can even call them chips. they are this strange puffy bland thing that reminds me of rice cakes. doubt i will try this place again. if you want a great sandwich (and for less money by the way) try jason's deli, quizno's or even subway.

wonderful!. this place seems to always be improving. the food is delicious and quick and now they have beer! check it out.

i love cafe 7! my favorite is the "big fat greek pizza" or the asian salad, although i've never had anything that is not delish there. all very affordable, quick, and fresh.
