yumm! and nice service to boot!. went here for a late lunch: had bbq pork sliders, grilledcheeseand salads with buttermilk chive dressing. all were very well prepared and good. sizes were generous. very nice waitstaff. good coffee as well from south fork.

tip on the side: be sure to check out the gin selection at the liquor store next door.

great food!. the food is delicious and original. if you want something different at a good price with friendly service this is the place. i have liked every thing i have ordered! great mac andcheesetoo!

the food was excellent; the servers were gluten free knowledgeable although shooting down my wife on the lamb special hurt. the drinks were great.
i had the eggnog martini, wow that was so good. i tried it because it sounded interesting and trust me, i will have that again. we had the jalapeno poppers and they were the best i have ever had with goatcheeseand brochette with a delicate cream sauce. vary good.
entree: i had the beef tenderloin, melts in your mouth. the only thing that i felt was a bit off is that it took a while to get our food, but it was worth every min to wait. wonderfull, i will be back.

fantastic blt. my cousin, uncle and i went here for lunch. the service was very friendly, had a nice atmosphere. it comes off as a ritzy restaurant but was actually more laid back then i expected. my cousin had the brocolli mac andcheeseand let me just say they're doing good things in that department, it melted in your mouth and had just the right amount of cheese, it wasn't overpowering. i had a blt and im partial to ordering anything with bacon at restaurants because they seem to always over cook it. but this blt was cooked just right, it was still chewy and had great taste. the tomato and lettuce was fresh and the bread was great as well. it was a little spendy but i would say its worth it.

i had a great experience at cafe 440 just before the dinner rush. we ordered the sweet potato fries for an appetizer, which were tender and sweet, and i got the goatcheesefritter salad with spinach, roasted garlic and tomatoes. the goatcheesefritter alone is a winner, but the combination of the roasted garlic and tomatoes with the balsamic vinaigrette is to die for! before our food came, i told our server that it was my first time to cafe 440, to which he assured me i'd soon become a regular... i have a feeling he was right! i can't wait to go back and try the rest of their tasty (and reasonably-priced, surprisingly) menu!

great food, great service. we came here today without knowing too much about this 6-month old restaurant, but left very satisfied with some really great food. we started out with the jalepeno poppers (wrapped in bacon and filled with cream cheese) and the pita bread (lightly toasted in butter) with a roasted red pepper hummus - excellent!

for lunch we ordered the northwest harvarticheesesteak sandwich and the blacked chicken sandwich with a mango salsa and quacamole - both were very, very tasty. we shared a plate of sweet potatoe fries - perhaps, the best we have had!

we could not resist the fabulous dessert selection - from which we chose the peanut butter cheesecake on top of a layer of chocalate fudge; and, a truly remarkable bread pudding - lighly topped with apples. fantastic.

the service was attentive and to todd, the owner, best wishes for a great 2010 as you enter your first full year with this really great place. bottom line: we will be back!
