the butterchurn is one of my go-toplaceswhile in aransas pass / rockport texas. it's great to see the friendly faces of the hard working staff. you will even often see owners barbara and mark busting their butt along side staff to get everyone served.
although the resteraunt is buffet, the quality of most items is above buffet. there are a few items that could be improved but staples like the brisket, steak, fried fish, mac and cheese and a to-die for frito pie will keep you coming back.
