horrible service with goodfoodand beer.. i heard good things about this place so gave it 2 shots. both times thefoodwas good, and the beer selection great, but the waitstaff's attitude ruined the experience. this is a bummer because i like having a beer in an old converted brick building.
the first time i took my family of 4 there and was sat a 2 person table with 4 chairs. when i asked to move to an empty table (in the empty restaurant) they told me no and that is was reserved for larger groups. so we crammed and bumped knees while the larger tables sat empty our entire meal.
the second time i took my wife and she ordered a glass of wine. it was a bad bottle ( probably overheated) so she asked for another one. then the manager came out and explained to my wife that it was a good bottle, and she doesn't drink wine personally, but people that *know* tested it. wtf?? are you guys trying to make it so i can't eat at your place - work with me here.
the staff acts like they are too good for the job - they got the big stuff right (food, atmosphere) - now just fire the manager and make it a pleasant place to be.
