clean restaurant for lunch. low key and a feel part sports bar and part upscaleburgerjoint. everyone in town raves about it and that normally is a receipe for disaster.
menu is simple and moderately priced. burgerto bun ratio was great. flavor was spot on and the fries / onion rings were tasty.

lookin for a good bite around disney and the oc. this is the spot.

opened in 2012, this downtown fullerton restaurant is located next to the night owl coffee house.

we came here on memorial day, and i had the parlor burger, which they claim is the in n out double double on steroids. it was a good burger, but not for the price. i'd much rather go to the actual in n out or, 4th street market in santa ana and get the wagyu chuck's version yelp.com/biz/wagyu-chuck… of their double-double.

stephen had the smoky burger, which he really enjoyed. we shared the half-and-half which was 4 large onion rings over a serving of fresh cut french fries. one yelper commented the french fries were very much like in n out. i agree except bp adds salt and pepper, not just salt.

not a cheap place to eat as our lunch set me back $30. definitely not in n out prices!

after weighing in the price and what we got, i'm giving this place 3 stars.  hmm, maybe if it wasn't so expensive, 3 1/2 stars.

there's just too manyburgerplaces out there, and even though i like to support the local merchant, i'm not sure if this will be a frequently visited place for me. don't get me wrong, the food was good, ingredients are great, but after eating the 4th street wagyu chuck, this paled in comparison.

i already went over a brief background on the inception ofburgerparlor in my early bird post , so let’s just say that this was one of the oc’s most anticipated openings in 2012, having been named as having the bestburgerin the oc weekly while in its pop-up iteration early in the year. greg’s been hyping up the opening for months, and was obviously all over it whenburgerparlor finally opened earlier this month. despite a rocky start (due to service issues that were just ridiculous to complain about – damn yelpers; see sinosoul’s post for more info), i was confident that the quality of the burgers would be up to par as i’ve read/heard before the brick-and-mortar opened. i went last thursday (via 1.5-hour-drive) to hang out with greg and han while pulling off the trifecta of watching three games at once – the 2 mlb alds matchups the steelers-titans game. via greg’s advice i texted the restaurant’s “mailing list” to get a secret deal of aburgerside for $10.50. myburgerwas the chi

when i heard ofburgerparlor, i knew i had to go. when i read the reviews from other blogs, i movedburgerparlor immediately up my restaurant wish list. if you have ever read my blog before, you know that i love hamburgers. they are such a diverse, yet simple food. our county has such an embarrassment of riches when it comes to great burgers here. i was just hoping thatburgerparlor could live up to the hype i had built up in my mind.burgerparlor comes to us from joesph mahon, a classically trained chef. from la habra, he left to learn his craft, but now he is back in oc building burgers four nights a week. oh yeah, did i mention thatburgerparlor is a pop up restaurant? they share space with rialto cafe wednesday through saturday nights. the pop up aspect ofburgerparlor kind of added to my excitement a little bit. it was like a secret spot, even though it has been written up in numerous places already. enough chit chat tho

last week we took our neighbors d and l to check out the newly openedburgerparlor in downtown fullerton also know as the soco district. it was our first visit to theburgerparlor and although i had heard some raves about them i wasn't exactly sure what to expect.burgerparlor serves dinner in the same space that rialto cafe serves breakfast and lunch, a concept that i find very intriguing. this works out great for both owners because they can split the costs of rent.burgerparlor is the new concept from fine dining chef joseph mahon, you can read all about him and the concept in this article from la weekly . all i know about joseph is that he seems like a pretty cool guy, i had a quick chat with him and when he found out i was i twitter he asked me for my name and thanked us for stopping by. but i know you are more interested in the food, so here it is. (please excuse the bad pictures, i think my camera was mad at me!) we ordered 3 different burgers, but i only got decent pictures
