best food i have found here. best hamburger in florida. service was fantastic and theviewwas great.

the perfect little "hole in the wall" place! good music! friendly service! went around 5 on a wednesday evening and was served quickly! burgers are massive! cooked perfectly and pretty unique! sweetest little place, good for filling up on a good burger, listen to good music and see the beautifulviewof the keys!

the fries and the fried key lime pie were amazing! in fact, all of our food was delicious. the kids loves that they brought their soda in a can koozie! theviewwas phenomenal! this place was worth finding even thought it is tucked back in the back a bit. love!!'

great food, great view!!. my husband and i split a ruben sandwich (which was their nightly special), an order of hush puppies (which were jalapeno and covered with shredded cheese) and an order of fried key lime pie. all were absolutely wonderful. we drove through some fairly seedy places to get there but once we were there the restaurant and surroundings were clean, neat, orderly, newly painted and very, very charming. the second-storyviewwas delightful.

pilots $100 hamburger. i flew down from daytona beach on a solo training flight and had to stay in marathon a little longer than expected. i wanted to grab some food, so i called a taxi. the driver recommended burdines, and i went. the burger and fries were fantastic!!! the service was laid back, and theviewwas great. will definitely be flying back down for a burger again! (btw, pilots call trips for food $100 hamburgers, as before gas prices went up, you could fly to another city, get food, and return for about $100)

burdines is one of my favorite local spots in marathon. theviewis everything you expect in the keys. the food is good (love the fries!) and the service is average. the keys are very laid back and sometimes that reflects in the service. you just cant expect speedy service because thats just not how many locals work down here. but if you have time to relax snd enjoy the florida keys way of life, i recommend the place for a bite to eat. the restaurant is also dog friendly which i love!

not recommended. my friends and i were heading down to key west for spring break vacation when we decided we wanted to stop to eat. we picked this place because of the favorable reviews on here, but we were mostly disappointed. when we got there we were very impressed with theviewand atmosphere. unfortunately, we had to sit inside because the deck tables were all taken. it was quite a while before we were actually helped.

the soda that came in the can was pretty flat, not sure what that was all about. my friends ordered burgers and quesadillas and really enjoyed the flavor and portion size. i, on the other hand, ordered a fish finger basket. i wasn't happy with the portion size, and the taste was pretty average. we shared fries which were extremely good, tasted like they were cooked in peanut oil.

we had 2 different servers helping us. one was very pleasant but the other was extremely rude. she gave us an attitude when we asked for separate checks and didn't smile once. overall, the food was good,viewwas amazing, and service was atrocious.

fantastic food that won't break your budget. the food here was excellent. we got fried fish, fish sandwich, fried chicken basket, fried shrimp basket and the sesame tuna salad. the only thing that was just ok were the fried shrimp, but for the price it was pretty decent. the fried fish was outstanding and the fried chicken was both plentiful and tasty. the biggest surprise was the seared tuna, as it was incredible and it really did come of mixed greens (no romaine in sight! woo hoo!) the fish was fresh and delicious. the service was friendly and pleasant. theviewwas beautiful and we saw dolphins in the channel while we were eating. lovely spot.
