staying in dehradun for a short break and looking for good food we ended up at this place on the 3rd floor of a mall . ambience was nice and seating nice too. i wish i could say the same for food. the food was so so bad that we left it all. the loaded nachos with such bad quality cheese then the margherita pizza with the same disgusting cheese which i couldn't swallow as it became like chewing gum in my mouth . the bok choi momozz which were hard like anything not even steamed properly the fries which were fried in a smelly oil the chilly chicken which is made better at a road side dhaba and whcih tasted stale and tasteless at bungalow. i don't know how they are running this place when not even 1 item was edible for us. i have never come back so hungry and disappointed from a place like we had to come back today. my kids ordered roomserviceonce back at the hotel and we thanked god for some edible food. thank you bunglpw for ruining our evening and appetite .

visited this beautiful place today. absolutely loved the ambience and feel. the music was good and food even better. we tried the chicken bao, tacos, margarita pizza and the blueberry cheesecake. special mention for the bao. the bao bun was soft and melt in the mouth. they do not have desserts mentioned in the menu but you can ask the server for the same. although not many choices for the dessert, the taste was good. i would rate the food overall a 4.5/5
drinks were good too. tried the classic liit. was strong how it should be.
theservicewas quite quick and the servers were attentive.
keep up the good work. will definitely visit again. just a small request, please add some more desserts to the menu.

once you enter bungalow, it is very difficult not to get impressed by the ambience, which definitely is their high point. sadly things go downhill from there, and pretty steeply. the staff is lethargic and disinterested, food is below average in presentation as well as taste andserviceis pathetic. and obviously not a kid friendly place. definitely not visiting this place again.

theserviceis pathetic. not even water was served despite of asking twice. my pizza turned cold but i didn't seasonings for good 10 minutes. the only part they were quick at was to raise the bill and takeservicecharge for their non satisfactory service. once again at the end inspite of asking for mouth freshener no one listened and the waiters and the manager just disappeared somewhere. the mocktails that i ordered only had ice in it. absolutely unpleasant experience

this place stands apart from all other in dehradun...as soon as you enter bungalow it gives a royal welcoming....i loved theirserviceand quantity plus quality of food is amazing...cheers to the team...coming back really soon

they are trying to present different dishes under the same roof. i think that is worth appreciating. sometimes the price might seem on the high end but that is a standard pricing if we go to similar restaurants in any other city .
theirserviceis good and they understand the ingredients. great efforts in providing new items in dehradun.

had heard a lot abt the beautiful ambience but even the food andservicewere good that added to a beautiful evening out experience. keep up the good work

i went on valentine day with my family.. so it was crowded andservicewere slow due to it. i had wonderful experience with bunglow previously. but this time start to end everything was awful. in starters french fries were below average, two of our starters paneer tikka and fish tikka were cold ( its a sin to serve cold starter). when i told them about it they took those pieces of our plate and microwaved and brought us back. i can understand it was rush day but that no excuse to serve cold food to customers. i don't have wish to go there anymore since this experience.

there is just one upside to this place - the ambience. rest everything - food taste, staff,service- all are bad (poor, even)
we ordered veg biryani and veg nachos and where nachos were fine, biryani was pathetic. it was tasteless and the rice were undercooked.
the drinks were fine - we ordered déjà vu (mocktail) and mai tai (cocktail)
the price is slightly on the upper side but it would be ok if the food was fine.
coming to theservice- we asked for angeethi as soon as entered and reminded them multiple times but they did not get it for us. they even changed our chairs while we were seated and were having food (don't know what the reason was)
all in all, i wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
go there only if you want to have drinks and starters like peanuts or nachos.
don't go there for food.
forgot to mention - there is no variety of food, especially for vegetarians/vegans.

hosted a party for 25 people on the terrace. food and ambience was perfect. dahi ke kebab, dal makhani and their pizza 'my garden on the table' were liked by all. a big shout out to theserviceespecially manoj and pandey. patiently handled all guest requests. best party venue in the town.

nice large and well lit place, neither too bright nor too dark, seating is well considered and your conversation is not overwhelmed by someone sitting at the next table. service was okay type, overall ambience is good, coming to food ordered the manchow soup, it was not made well though asked for spicy one, it tasted more like thick arrowroot and corn powder mixed with some short beans, carrot and cabbage. tasted somewhat strangely i was not able to figure out some funny flavor and dreaded if they are using some food thickener chemical. the burrito bowl was good with beans and rice and veggies but the serving size is pathetic, not even sufficient for one person as a meal. burrito bowl is not to be served like a side dish as it is a full meal and should be served as such. using cottage cheese look alike or tofu slices did not add to flavor. it was better if they used minced tofu sofritas. also they did not provide it with sour cream and cheese. tacos were mixed in the bowl instead it was better to serve it on the side. overall appeared the serving appeared ill conceived. we ordered thai red curry and rice. this again was served as a side dish in soup bowl, with horribly small serving side and not conceived as a full stand alone meal for one who is ordering. i was aghast that thai curry and rice was mixed in bowl. they could not serve it separate. also the option did not exist to chose between white and brown rice. overall i will say that food serving and serving size is poorly conceived. 

so this is the finest place in town to spend your experience with your loved and one at. view from the top was breathtaking. it is a pretty fancy place in crossroads mall... they are beautiful vintage interior, well managed bar section, comfortable couches etc m in love with their interior and vintage collection...
let’s talk about the food so this is my second visit and now i’m here to try their winter special menu, there is many outstanding and well presented dishes. i order apple barley beetroot salad which is very fancy and colourful even the taste of the salad is very balanced, second dish i order jackfruit avocado tostados this one is also perfectly balanced with flavour and texture. last but not the least cottage cheese medallions with sesame peanut gravy, i really enjoy the many flavour in a single dish sesame and peanut always goes well together...
this is the first time i’ve had a perfect dining experience. not only in their food great but theirservicein impeccable the attention of the staff is amazing... all hall the king..

bungalow is the epitome of the neo-modern culture that has been taking the hospitality industry by storm of late. coming from a city like delhi, where there is no dirth of culinary options, bungalow in dehradun was a more than pleasant surprise. with its beautiful window walls and interiors designed astounding attention to detail, it’s truly a one of a kind venue, not just in uttarakhand but the whole country. it’s pleasantly spacious, with every section bringing its own signature style to suit your mood. theserviceis impeccable and they’re well staffed regardless of the time or day of operation. the terrace is beautiful and gives you a full view of the hills around during the day & and dining under a billion stars is an experience in itself at night. the sound is probably one of the top 5 systems in the whole of north india. now to the most important part, the food. i tried 4 dishes (in the pictures) from a wide spectrum of world cuisines. each brought with it, it’s own distinct plethora of flavours, sublime textures and uniformity with every bite. the plating was above par as well. one things for sure, you’ll never go home hungry or dissatisfied. all in all the perfect place to be if you’d like a party with your friends, a cultured dinner with the family or even an intimate date with your other half. if you’re in and about dehradun i definitely recommend you give bungalow a visit or you’d risk an incomplete experience of the city.
