staying in dehradun for a short break and looking for good food we ended up at this place on the 3rd floor of a mall . ambience was nice and seating nice too. i wish i could say the same for food. the food was so so bad that we left it all. the loaded nachos with such bad quality cheese then the margherita pizza with the same disgusting cheese which i couldn't swallow as it became like chewing gum in my mouth . the bok choi momozz which were hard like anything not even steamed properly the fries which were fried in a smelly oil the chilly chicken which is made better at a road side dhaba and whcih tasted stale and tasteless at bungalow. i don't know how they are running this place when not even 1 item was edible for us. i have never come back so hungry and disappointed from a place like we had to come back today. my kids ordered room service once back at the hotel and we thanked god for some edible food. thank you bunglpw for ruining our evening and appetite .

bungalow is one of the most spacious and modern hot spots in dehradun. located on the top floor of cross road mall, their indoor ambience is perfect for people who want to socialize and take insta worthy pix against their beautiful decor. their rooftop outdoor seating has amazing chill vibes with music and great views!
their food lives up to the ambience, with every dish being well cooked, flavorful and delicious! we ordered:

🌟creamy piri piri fettuccine
🌟fish tikka
🌟veg tandoori platter
🌟black currant mojito
🌟dal makhani

with their vast menu, great service, ambience and seating, this is a worthy spot to check out!

can spend good bucks but not blindly? want quality worth it? then definitely go to bungalow bar & kitchen.
it is pricey and i placed an order for just 2-3 items. but the taste was amazing!
biryani at this place got its own different flavor which won't disappoint you.
and butter garlic prawns were yum! i tried this dish for the first time here and have never looked back at any other restaurant when it comes to prawns. definitely give it a try if you love seafood or eat non-veg or willing to try prawns.
coming to dessert, i ordered a blueberry cheesecake. it was good but still can be improved. i had an even better one than this here in another restaurant in dehradun only.

the ambiance is 5*. until now, i haven't found any restaurant in dehradun that can beat bungalow in ambiance. visit once and next time you'll be visiting it, more for ambiance than food.
day ambiance is good but it's even better in evening. especially on occasions or festive.

also, what i noticed is that it is heavily crowded on occasions and festive. rest of the days it's not crowded at all!

if you want ambiance with good food (pricey though), go for bungalow bar & kitchen.

amazing food . tried the japanese katsu curry and the thai minced bowl as suggested by rajesh bhat ( our server) . great ambience and very good portion size too. would definitely visit again:)

overall good experience, it is beautifully decorated and must go place for everyone who does not have budget constraints. portion size is good, drinks are good, only thing i did not like was their menu. they hv few option for vegetarian food. also paneer was very dry and hard. but overall they are doing good.

i celebrated my birthday here and it was a fine experience. ordered grilled salmon with ratatouille abd khous khous and chicken biryani. it was impeccable. the staff was well mannered. although we couldn't dine at their rooftop tables, it was still an enjoyable experience. the food might seem expensive to the college crowd, rest it is worth the ambience.
will definitely visit again.

lovely ambience and service! a must visit place especially in winters with seating on the rooftop. veg dimsums are impeccable. few things do need an improvement such as garden pizza (cheese was quite stretchy) but overall it’s one of the best places in dehradun to enjoy food and drinks in a lovely ambience.

everything about this place is amazing be it the food, service, crowd or ambience .
it has some pretty spots to click pictures and both indoor and outdoor seating is available.
it’s inside a mall so no parking issues .

the staff is so good here. the food is delicious and very unique in its own way. must try tiramisu. it was amazing. the place itself looks so amazing and attractive. you must go there and experience the vibes.

visited this beautiful place today. absolutely loved the ambience and feel. the music was good and food even better. we tried the chicken bao, tacos, margarita pizza and the blueberry cheesecake. special mention for the bao. the bao bun was soft and melt in the mouth. they do not have desserts mentioned in the menu but you can ask the server for the same. although not many choices for the dessert, the taste was good. i would rate the food overall a 4.5/5
drinks were good too. tried the classic liit. was strong how it should be.
the service was quite quick and the servers were attentive.
keep up the good work. will definitely visit again. just a small request, please add some more desserts to the menu.

we recently had dinner in bungalow and it was an extremely pleasurable experience.

the first and foremost thing which i liked were the chairs! i know it sounds odd in a food review but damn those were comfortable for my parents. the lighting was adequate the music was not too loud, which worked really well for conversation.

now lets come to the cocktails we ordered mint julep and bloody mary. the bloody mary was extremely well made so we ordered 3 :) . the mint julep was potent but didnt tasted that well. we ordered 2 chivas 12 and one bud as well.

for the food we ordered fries,loaded nachos veg, chicken shnitzel, penne alfredo chicken, char grilled flat noodles and grilled fish in lemon butter sauce.

nachos, chicken shnitzel and char grilled flat noodles were a hit on table. the nachos had really nice topping, chicken shnitzel had a great salad beside it and the noodle were tasty!

fish tasted well but i've had better

pasta was disappointing . fries were like any other fries, so you can skip it.

overall the experience was nice! the ambience and spacing between tables makes it really spacious.
our total bill was approx 5900 which is not too much considering the amount of drinks and food we ordered.
will definitely recommend this place for dinner and drinks ..with friends you can enjoy in rooftop
